Premier Inn Chester (Railway Station)

The Premier Inn bed lived up to expectations as the best around for sleep quality. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well located for the railway station, there are several restaurants in the vicinity and it is an easy walk to the city centre. A bottle of water in the room would be welcome

Un gran hotel con la alta calidad habitual de un Premier Inn. Excelente desayuno, excelente personal, etc., linda habitación, etc. Buena ubicación si quieres pasear por el centro de Chester. A un corto paseo de la catedral, los jardines romanos, el anfiteatro y The Rows. Un pequeño inconveniente: mi navegador no logró encontrar el estacionamiento, lo que puede resultar un poco complicado de usar si tienes un auto grande. Sin embargo, al final lo encontré. Volvería allí nuevamente.

Me alojé por 2 noches. La habitación no se limpió. La cama no estaba hecha, por lo que no había vasos limpios. Ni leche ni bolsitas de té. por parte del personal, ahora debe solicitar la limpieza de su habitación si se queda más de 1 noche. El personal dijo que vendrían a limpiarla cuando estuviéramos fuera, pero nunca lo hicieron.

Debido a circunstancias personales imprevistas, tuve que modificar mi reserva tres veces. Desde septiembre de 2021 hasta marzo de 2022, el precio casi se duplicó, pero esto no se reflejó en el nivel de servicio. No puedo culpar al personal del hotel por esto, ya que fueron muy serviciales y amables, pero a pesar de que se han levantado las restricciones de covid, todavía no hay servicio de limpieza en las habitaciones y creo que esto se refleja en la limpieza general del habitación. Había gente yendo y viniendo hasta altas horas de la noche con portazos y hablando en los pasillos hasta altas horas de la madrugada. He sido cliente de Premier Inn durante años, pero esta es la primera vez que puedo decir que mi estadía no tuvo una buena relación calidad-precio.

Not the place to stay if you need to travel by car. There are approx. 12 spaces, which were full on arrival and throughout our stay. Street parking is 2hrs only, no returns, 8am - 9pm. you could arrive after 7pm - pay for 2 hrs and get up in time to move before 8am. We did manage to do this the 2nd night as someone was leaving, but otherwise the street parking was full. The station carpark they recommend 0.3mile away (8min walk, in the rain), is only payable by Google pay on a smart phone, no pay machine. There is a pub car park across the road that you can pay with a credit card. If I were staying in the area again I would choice to stay further away, with a car park, and drive in for the day. With no opening windows the room was airless, you can turn on the fan but you can not sleep with the noise, 2nd night we took sleeping tablets. Breakfast is good for vegetarians, which is why we often stay in Premier Inns. Package meal deal is good value, basic and OK, would have been nice to have the option to book meal deal for 1st night only. A bed for the night. The room was clean.

had a evening meal with some friends after the premier inn at two mills they were staying at had no staff to open the restaurant. so we asked if they were still serving and Emma and kashia were very helpful and accommodating and I would like to thank the chef will for cooking for us so late the food was lovely

Great location and a really nice environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Loved the purple lights in the bathroom! Bed was comfortable so we had a great nights sleep. The WiFi was ok but I purchased the ultimate which was great for watching Netflix in bed!

Just returned from a short break staying at the hotel. I have mobility issues and specifically booked an accessible room to afford me the extra space for my wheelchair. Upon arrival we were directed to our room which turned out to be one of the Premier Inn “premier rooms” we had only booked a standard room and we were pleasantly surprised to be told that because we had booked an accessible room, this was the only one available. No additional charges were made. Throughout our stay all the staff were polite, courteous and very helpful.

Stayed overnight in late September 2024 as attending a family event in Chester. Check in was smooth and very much liked the fact that only guests can access the bedroom floors. Room was spot on - had everything that we needed. Breakfast on departure was plentiful with poached eggs on request. Two things I would mention: Not having a window which opens led to a very stuffy room and a lot of condensation in the morning. The quilt whilst lovely was far too warm. All in all the experience was good and the price point fair and a 12 noon check out was gratefully received.
