Motel 6 Binghamton, NY

Clean, Safe, Friendly and Great Value. A no frills hotel for a great price. The area is safe, plenty of parking. No more carpets, comfy bed, warm shower, TV and AC all I needed. The staff was very friendly and they had a 4pm day of arrival cancellation policy. Very helpful.

Clean and comfortable room. We had all the basics we would need including cable TV with many channels. Bed and bedding was clean and comfy. Hot shower. I appreciate that it's pet friendly and my 1st floor request was accommodated. Check in was friendly and quick.

The location was very convenient as it is only 15 minutes away from Binghamton University. We only needed to stay for one night so the price was right. The room was clean and neat. The one hiccup was the slow drain in the shower, if we were staying for more than one night I would have insisted on switching rooms. We stayed in Room 212.

Premium quality at motel 6 prices I have been to this location twice in 2024 and stayed on the first and second floors. The check-in staff is outstanding. The second time I stayed there, the gentleman in front of me turned to me and was enthusiastic about how helpful the receptionist was! When you walk into the room, it is a flawlessly clean, “like new” remodeled, Scandinavian design (lots of blonde wood) themed furnishings. The appliances were functioning. These observations reflect the high standards of the maintenance and housekeeping staff. I give this place a solid five stars

We've stayed at this motel many times over the last 10 years or so, en route to visiting our son in Queens. Over that period, we had noticed a gradual decline in maintenance and exterior appearance that led us to wonder how much longer we would be able to stay there. This time was different. It seemed like some money had been spent on maintenance (the card access on the exterior side door worked perfectly after several years of comedic frustration), and the paint in the hallways appeared fresher. It was a very good stay, and I hope the upward trend continues. I did miss the invariably friendly and helpful desk clerks from previous stays. It's still an old facility with some fixtures that need replacing, but I'd definitely give them another shot.

I was pleased with many things at my stay! I called to inquire about a couple of things before I arrived. I had thought I had booked a first floor room but was incorrect (my fault). The lady on the phone Angel asked what I needed. I let her know I had trouble on stairs but because they were inside stairs I'd probably be ok. When I arrived at the desk Angel let me know that she had a first floor room she was able to put me in! It was late at night and I was truly grateful. We charted a few minutes. She was kind and cheerful even though it was creeping up on midnight. The room was clean and spacious. I loved that there was a power ***** with 2 USB ports mounted on the wall above the night stand! The only thing I would say wasn't perfect was the bed was a little hard for me- which is really a preference. The pillows were great. Just the right amount of softeness, but not so thick your neck hurts. The motel is close to stores, restaurants, movie theater and local colleges. Definitely will be staying here again!

Amazing stay. Very decent room for the price. I was able to relax and enjoy my mangoes in the comfort of my room. Mangoes in my bed. Mangoes in my chair. Very Yummy! The bathroom cabinet could hold all 7 packages!

We've stayed here often on trips from Rochester to NYC. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the rooms have generally been very clean. Most things work, and the wi-fi is quite usable. But maintenance has ticked downward over the years, and our latest stay was an example. To access the building via the exterior door near our room, you have to swipe your key card. Well, the reader didn't work. When I went to the front desk, the clerk said that several other people had complained and that she had put a call in. This was around 3 pm. When we returned from dinner, it still wasn't working. Now, the clerk came around to let us in both times, promptly and without complaint, but this is not the kind of problem that should be left unfixed for hours. Add the hairball that floated up from the drain when we turned on the water in the tub, and we wonder if this place is in danger of going over the line from "budget" to "avoid". There are a lot of budget hotels in Binghamton; most are low-rated, and this is one of the better ones, as well as one of the lowest-priced. But, it's not going to take much more decline to force us to cross it off of our list.

Just awful. Booked 2 rooms. Smelled terrible in halls/rooms. Stains all over walls in rooms. You could hear people/dogs from other rooms down the halls in your room. Pulled the bed sheets down 1 out of 2 beds had not been changed . Hairs, stains and what looked like seeds or dead bugs on sheets. Complained to front desk. Only one on duty so she gave us new sheets only for bed. We had to remove dirty linen and replace ourselves without blankets and was advised to notify housekeeping of situation in morning. No refund. Would never stay at a super 6 motel anywhere after this experience. Poor, worst motel we have ever experienced.
