Located on a roundabout so very noisy.
No aircon and it is a really hot hotel, so hot they don’t bother supplying duvets.
Breakfast was v poor, rehydrated mushrooms, cheap sausages, coffee machine was broken, the juice dispenser was filled with water…..
Not impressed, please don’t waste your money staying here.

Cheap and nasty unfortunately. Just about palettable for one night but unless you are desperate, go elsewhere. The room was pretty dirty and had stains etc. Not good enough

Lo mejor el desayuno, bufet libre y variado. Aunque el hotel estaba limpio cuando llegamos, en los 5 días que estuvimos no pasaron ni siquiera a recoger basura. Tienes que poner un cartel si deseas que te repongan el papel higiénico o cualquier otra cosa porque si no ellos no entran para nada en la habitación. No hay un simple armario para guardar la ropa interior, tienes que dejarla en la maleta, y para colgar la ropa, envío una foto para que se vea donde se puede colgar. Para la ducha, hay que llevar gorro pues está fija y muy alta, si no quieres mojarte el pelo y dentro de una bañera altísima. No hay toallero para la toalla de las manos El lugar era tranquilo, al menos nuestra habitación que daba a la parte de atrás. Tanto el recepcionista como las que trabajan son amables. Y otra cosa, como nuestro avión llegó antes de la hora de entrar (las 15:00) tuvimos que pagar parar poder entrar en la habitación 1 hora y media antes...

Will use this Travelodge again Clean, quiet and very convenient for Chelmsford city centre Helpful staff Compared very well with other Travelodges we have used in the past

What a lovey clean hotel, We stayed for the weekend because we were visiting family, we was very impressed with the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. Every-time we entered we were greeted with a smile. The room was clean and fresh. The corridors were also nice and clean

We really our visit. Staff were superb, and room was absolutely fine. Obviously not the Ritz, but I don't need the Ritz - I need a comfy, quiet room and plenty of the right temperature water. I got all of these. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because the bathroom door on the inside needed a good clean. I will definitley return next time I go to Chelmsford. Right opposite to Aldi and an easy walk to the town centre along the river, which felt very safe at night.

Most Travelodge's seem to have upped their game, but this one feels rather dated. One of the great things about most Travelodges is their bar is open til 4am! Not this one, closes at 10:30-11pm. Luckily the lovely Charlotte was able to serve us a large glass of wine each, so thank you Charlotte. Breakfast was disappointing as I had to request vegan sausages and also there were no hash browns at first, they did replenish these.
