The Westin Chattanooga

The Westin is in a great location. Everything is within walking distance. The beds are very comfortable. Will definitely book again next time I visit Chattanooga.

Wonderful hotel for rest and relaxation. Perfect location at the edge of downtown. Keeping you close to everything but not in the middle of all the hustle and busssle. Easy to walk to everything you need all close by. Wonderful pool and a patio that is wonderful to relax and unwind anytime of the day or evening. Resturants and bars on-site. The roof top bar has Wonderful views of the city and local mountain range. Staff is always alert and up for the challenge to help and direct you anyway they need to. One gentleman in particular was super helpful and has a personality that will take him far in his life. When I arrived on wendesday, he was the lone bellman on duty. He was super busy but had a fantastic attitude. He said this is tough doing check-in of all these folks by myself. But that is what I signed up for. To work and do whatever it takes to make money. That attitude Wil take Austin very far. As a business owner myself, I always like to highlight great workers along the way. I think you will very much enjoy your stay at this Westin while your in Chattanogga.

Very nice stay. The hotel is beautiful, the lobby, outdoor patio, and common areas well-maintained. The atrium in the middle and the elevators are interesting architecturally. The hotel has a nice rooftop pool, a bar in the lobby, and a restaurant on the top floor (Paloma Bar De Tapas - see separate review). The lobby bar has a good selection of beer on tap and cocktails (try a Fickle Pickle), but was understaffed, sometimes waiting 20 minutes to order a drink. The room was nice, floor to ceiling windows, the beds were comfy and there was a nightlight in the bathroom which was nice. There was a lot of light coming in from the door to the hallway and the aircon was loud. Also, we stayed in a two queen room and was only supplied with one robe and one pair of slippers. Overall, it was a nice stay and we'd stay again.

Our family stays at the Westin Chattanooga often and Sunny is the best! He always greets us with a smile and is so friendly. He makes check in easy and we love the Westin because of him. We always have the best experience at the Westin Chattanooga.

The hotel is decent but we had a very uneven experience. I think some of it was unique circumstance. We originally booked a corner 2 queen bed room. The check in process was fast and efficient however when we went to our room we immediately noticed a fair amount of mold build up in the shower so we asked to change to another room of the same type. The bellman hadn’t even put the bags in the room yet so it made it easy to change. The next room we went in appeared to be fine until my daughter open the blinds and we found a wasp behind it. Thinking it was no big deal I removed the wasp from behind the blinds but then noticed 2 more. I looked up in the very top corner and nestled all the way up was a wasp nest. The bellman was still with us unloading our bags so we both snapped pictures of it and we obviously had to move again. This time they put us in one of the suites which we very much appreciated the gesture. The room was quite spacious so that was nice. However, it only had 1 king instead of queens which meant someone was going to have to sleep on the couch. This ended up being me so I pretty much didn’t sleep for a few nights. Also the room was a handicap room so the shower had no door and only a shower curtain that was about 3 feet off of the ground. So you had to shower in the corner or the shower and water would get everywhere in the bath room because there was nothing to stop it from splashing. The final night we were there the manager who was on duty offered to comp a dinner for my family given all of the changes. Again, we appreciated the gesture as we didn’t ask for that all. That meal took over 2 hours because the service was very slow. I’m pretty sure they had a 13 or 14 top seated at the same time as us so that was likely the reason. This meal actually ended up on my final bill so it wasn’t comped at all. I didn’t have the energy to fight it so I just let it go. I thought the staff was friendly and they tried to accommodate so that was all appreciated.

What a terrific stay. Trip started with fresh fruit water at check in and a fantastic front desk experience. Sunny M. was super accommodating and friendly and made me instantly feel welcomed. He shared great information about the hotel and surrounding area and is exactly the person you wanted to be greeted by after a long flight. Room was clean and spacious- pillow spray, shower spray and amazing bed and linens. Awesome roof top bar and great breakfast and snack shop in the lobby. Big fan of this hotel and will be back!

Very nice hotel and staff. Had to change rooms. First room had a view of a roof with a couple of dead birds on them. The second room had a view of Lookout Mountain which was beautiful, however, be prepared for traffic noise and wind noise if on a higher level. We were on the 6th floor. Rooms were clean. Would stay again. Staff very accommodating.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! From the moment I entered I was greeted with a big warm welcome and smiles! Sunny at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, while also being extremely quick checking me in! I’m traveling with a ESA, and all the staff were very accommodating. Great job Marriott!!

Stayed for the 2nd time at The Westin Chattanooga on the 4th of July Weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and America’s birthday. Luxurious hotel, friendly and professional staff. Comfortable beds, electric plenty of electric outlets to plug in devices. Had a room with 2 queen beds. Clean rooms. Location is walkable to restaurants and the riverwalk. Nice and clean pool. Breakfast at the restaurant is expensive, but very good, especially the French Toast! They also have Peet’s Coffee location ant the hotel for grab and go coffee and breakfast. The only negative thing is Parking is expensive and Valet only. Would highly recommend!
