I reached out to Marriott first. The response I received was ridiculous. They made me feel like my issues weren’t as big of a deal as they were. I wish my pictures came out better. Our accommodations were absolutely unacceptable. I paid $1,800 for 2 nights. I would have expected that I would be in a well-maintained room. There were stains all over the carpeting. The carpet had areas where it wasn't laying properly. The furniture needs to be replaced. The chairs coverings were torn and shedding. The cabinets were beaten up. There were stains on the sofas. The TV in one of the bedrooms wasn't working. I called the front desk (spoke with the most unfriendly woman) and someone came to fix but then the remote doesn't work properly. Speaking of unfriendly, it may have been the same woman, but the woman with the very short hair that checked me in was not very welcoming when I arrived. Her "greeting" was, "what do you need." And for goodness sakes, can someone open up one of the makeup removal wipes and rub it all over their face and let me know how you feel about having what smells like vomit being wiped all over your face. I certainly did not appreciate it! I had to pay to park, breakfast ends at 9:30, the bathroom door doesn't close without being forced, the overflow in the sink was filthy, maybe 2 tissues and the smell when we first entered was horrendous.
