Absolutely stunning place to stay. We traveled with friends and had the two suites to ourselves. Donna and Steve were the most hospitable hosts we've had while visiting B&Bs throughout the state. The breakfast was heaven and made with their farm fresh eggs and fresh juices. French toast was AMAZING! We enjoyed the horses, cows, chickens and pups. Sitting in the outdoor kitchen at night with a fire lit enjoying the stars with a glass of wine was an ideal end to a day of shopping in Brenham. The hot tub under the stars was another highlight. I am sad to say I did not utilize the huge tub in our suite but will have to return in the future to add that to the list of "loved" about this ranch. We definitely want to visit again when the ranch is all in bloom. Thank you again Donna and Steve for an incredible getaway weekend on your lovely ranch. HIGHLY recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I spend five nights in the Rose suite and we loved everything about our stay! Room was super clean, with a very comfortable bed and soft white sheets! It's a tranquil countryside place where you can relax, enjoy the silence and watch the birds and farm animals. Sadly I didn't have enough time to sit on a porch and read my book, that would be ideal! Donna & Steve( and the cute pups) were very friendly, we would definitely love to come back! (Tatjana and G :))

excellent!!! I have never had better service or amenities. The whole experience was very good. This was our anniversary gift to each other. Arrival was perfect. Breakfast was spectacular. Last evening was best ever.

We had the most amazing stay! From the beautiful accommodations to the most delicious breakfasts we have ever tasted, Donna and Steve for sure spoiled us ! We came with our best friends to have an adventure in Round Top, so we booked both rooms. Everything was above and beyond what we had ever expected. We will most certainly be back !! I have never felt led to write a review until staying here. Tracy S.

Imagine you had a generous cousin who owned a beautiful little ranch in the nearby hill country. That cousin welcomes you into their guest house - which is just perfect for you and your partner. Now imagine the greet you at the door like visiting family. Now imagine a truly great home cooked breakfast delivered with a smile to your door. Now imagine their two loving dogs circling your feet like they had known you for years - tails wagging. Sound like a dream? Well that dream came true for us at the Southern Rose Ranch this past weekend. If you want pretensions and sameness - keep driving north to Dallas. If cold and austere is your thing - head to the W in Austin. But if unplugging for the weekend is what you need - take a trip down Dairy Farm Road in Chappell Hill. You'll find some of the kindest and best proprietors you will ever meet - and accommodations that may find you never wanting to leave. We will be back.....
