I stayed at Extended Stay America and from the moment I walked in, it was a nightmare. The room was covered in hair—in the bathtub, on the bed, on the floor. Clearly, no cleaning had been done before my arrival. Cleanliness? Nonexistent. The elevator reeked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. I asked for cups and was given dirty plastic ones. Seriously? They can’t even handle the basics. The so-called “included breakfast” they advertise is a scam—it’s not breakfast, it’s a joke. And the service? Even worse. The older woman at the front desk in the morning—the one wearing a headscarf—was shockingly rude and unprofessional. No kindness, no patience, no courtesy. Thankfully, the Filipina woman from the cleaning staff was very kind and helpful, as was the Black male receptionist with glasses on the evening shift. The only decent people in that place. To make things worse, I got sick because of the room conditions. There was no proper ventilation, and the air conditioning was unhealthy. Every time I opened the door to let in some air, the hallway stench would come in—it smelled like something had died. It was like a scene from a horror movie. After trying to endure it for several days, I had to run out to a nearby hotel because this place was a total nightmare. I ended up with a throat infection from the humidity and the lack of ventilation. This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Filthy, poorly managed, unhealthy, and with terrible customer service. I wouldn’t go back even if they paid me.

First the positive, the front desk people were friendly. The room was good enough for us. Now for the negatives, we had to wait twice for the front desk personnel. The room had a pot burn mark on the counter, and a water stain on the ceiling above the kitchen. Also for a “non smoking” hotel the room smelled a little of smoke. In the morning we did their “grab n go” there wasn’t any muffins just coffee, hot water and oatmeal. I asked the person at the front desk if that was all they had for breakfast, they said they would bring out some muffins. I grabbed some muffins on the way out, I opened one of the muffins and took a bite it tasted a little funny so I looked at it and saw it was moldy. Luckily the second muffin wasn’t moldy too.

Great customer service. Johnny was excellent, I was able to check in early. The neighborhood is great. Very clean place. Quiet, peaceful, close to everything, fair oaks mall. Dave and Busters. Overall, a great place. We will be back and hope to stay again

Very nice hotel for the price. Very nice room. Rooms were their own mini suites with a couch, a kitchen that had a stove and fridge, bathroom and other typical room amenities. The people were very nice at the front desk and were very helpful when checking in.

I spent two nights at this hotel while on a business trip. The staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. The bed was cozy, and the room was clean. However, there were a few areas that need attention. The door sensors on the back doors were malfunctioning, which posed a security concern. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection in my room was quite weak, making it difficult to work. If these issues are addressed, this hotel could be a great choice for travelers.

The best thing about this place are the front desk ladies, Lisa and Malikah. The place has a lot of potential but the housekeepers need a manager to check behind them The room was clean and decent but the sheets and towels were stained. I requested replacements and they were stained as well. I stayed several weeks and the floor that I stayed on, the hallway was never vacuumed. The stairwell leading up to the floor was never vacuumed. I walked by the same trash in the hallway for days before it was removed.
