Hôtel le White - le 42 Restaurant

The hotel has a great location. Just outside Champery but with a direct access road to the village. Our room met all our requirements. An alcove that served as office space. An electric kettle for a cup of tea. A TV screen with a high quality image. A comfortable bed with extra pillows. A bathroom with user-friendly features such as a shaving mirror and efficient shower. We could not ask for more. Our morning breakfast, included in the room rate, included fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs with bacon and many varieties of bread. We will select this hotel on our next visit to Champery.

Beautiful, clean, modern hotel perfectly situated for Champery village. Staff were friendly and helpful, food (breakfast in hotel each day and an evening meal in adjoining 42 Restaurant) was excellent. My room had every thing I could need and then some, except for air conditioning. I happened to be there when it was very hot, but I'm guessing that's not usually the case in a Swiss ski resort. I would certainly choose to stay here again.

Lovely hotel, proprietors Laura and Thomas couldn't do enough for us, meals, no problem if you didn't like anything it could be changed, just ask. Wonderful views of the mountains. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.

Superb hotel, great location, amazing views and super friendly, helpful and professional staff, I loved everything and would definitely return. My room had a breathtaking view over the mountains and was very stylish with a really comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The receptionist was so welcoming and friendly, she showed me all the hotel facilities and also gave me lots of information about the village and getting around and took me outside to show me the ski bus stop and the Main Street. I was offered a hot chocolate and cookies on arrival which was a lovely touch. I appreciated all the little extra details and the slippers and bathrobe for the sauna and spa room and especially the included breakfast which was excellent. If you’re skiing, the ski bus stop which goes to the cable car is just outside the hotel. The village centre is 5 minutes walk and if you don’t have skis to carry the cable car is about a 12 minute walk and there’s a great restaurant at the top. The train arrives at Champery village station which is opposite the hotel. I travelled from Geneva airport by train in 2.5 hours. The train ride is stunning with the mountain views as you climb up towards Champery. Congratulations to the owners and the staff, you have created a beautiful and welcoming hotel.

Un hôtel avec un personnel très sympathique, accueillant et le petit dej est également varié. J’ai surtout apprécié le jus d’orange frais. Au restaurant le 42. Les serveurs étaient d’une grande gentillesse. Ils ont tout de suite proposé des feutres et du coloriages aux enfants. J’en ai rien à dire à part un grand merci au personnel.

Hôtel parfait de l’arrivée au départ. Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé avec Thomas et son équipe. Établissement renové avec goût. Buffet de petit déjeuner de bonne qualité. Possibilité de faire de multiples randonnées dans les alentours. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !
