📍 217 N Neil St, Champaign

"If I had to say this is the best value hotel in Champaign! Specifically, it's incredibly close to the Illinois Terminal train station, completely comfortable – a mere 5-minute walk that gave me plenty of time. The lobby staff were very friendly, and they even offered free candy, which was a welcome relief when I was tired."

Baymont by Wyndham Champaign ★★

📍 302 Anthony Dr, Champaign

"The room on the first floor is a bit damp and smells of mold. The room is old and not very hygienic. The front desk clerk keeps changing, alternating between Indians and white people. There is an Indian boy who discriminates against Chinese people and is very unfriendly. Regular coffee is not bad, and the other breakfasts are cakes every day, which are basically negligible. There are fewer choices during the school season, and I probably won't come next time."

Hotel Royer Urbana Champaign, Tapestry Collection by Hilton ★★★★
"The room amenities were excellent, but the location was average, and the Uber location was sometimes off. The service was average. The hotel is small, but it caters to local business and private events, not individual travelers. I didn't enjoy the hotel breakfast during my stay. Early checkout results in a rate penalty."

Microtel Inn by Wyndham Champaign ★★
