Fuimos con mi hija, pasamos una estadía maravillosa. El desayuno estuvo increíble, la vista y la atención de la señorita uruguaya (no recuerdo el nombre). Y también Gabriel de la recepción. Lo único que tengo para decir, es que tendrían que cambiar las toallas por unas más nuevas.

very nice hotel with history on LakeComo the lake is very nice you can take a boat ride the staff is very good the rooms are very large and very comfortable and very clean it is worth the effort and the money we paid despite the fact that it was expensive as a hotel

The Christmas Decoration are the most spectacularI have ever seen. ...Afternoon Tea or delicious Hot Chocolate and mouth watering cookies and cakes. .. In "The Chocolate House" ovrer looking Lake Como ...is a must. Wonderful atmosphere in "The Green House" a light meal, a glass or 2 and relax with friend on a Cosy sofa, surrounded by the spirit of Christmas.

We were fortunate enough to experience this amazing property as part of a larger trip to Spain and Italy for our 10-year wedding anniversary. We have been to Lake Como one time before but stayed at another (still iconic) property. Villa d'Este is in a league of its own. The public spaces are incredibly well taken care of, the breakfast spread is beautiful with ample selection, and cocktails each night in the piano bar was so special. Our room, while just labeled a "classic" room, was incredibly spacious, with a walk-in closet, seating area, and large bathroom. For a property of this age, everything was in top shape and well cared-for. What makes Villa d'Este special is how the team makes you feel. We were fortunate enough to befriend the bar manager, Riccardo, who recognized us each time we ran into one another, and even gave us a tour of the impressive kitchen operation ahead of dinner service one evening. What a special surprise! We will not hesitate to return to this iconic property.

One of our favorite hotels in the world. Perfect in all respects. This was our 4th visit. We met friends there and all of us had a terrific time. The staff, food and service were all top notch. The lobby bar is a must. Looking forward to returning next year.

This hotel is a dream. Spectacular lake views, beautiful gardens, amazing pool, great food. The attention to detail is incredible. The service was exceptional - all the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. The only complaint we had is the price of drinks, particularly wine. I understand food and drinks will be expensive at a five star resort and was happy to pay accordingly. But the cheapest glass of wine at 30 euros is excessive when we are Italy. Hotel should consider a couple of lower cost options for a glass of wine. But overall such a lovely experience!

Villa D'este a great ambassador of the italian hospitality , great staff , great food , amazing room and a super nice fine restaurant give us the opportunity to discover a haven , grazie I come back soon with my family , is a great place for relax , visit and stay with your parents as part of a great adventure .

Landmark building for Lake Como!You need to visit its Gardens and the waterfall for a jaw-dropping experience. The hotel itself and all the public areas need serious work and renovation in order to compete with the other options you have in Comi nowadays.

Bar none, this was the best hotel experience we have ever had. We were a bit anxious when the weather forecast for our trip to Lake Como showed a week of rain. Luckily, the eternal sunshine created by the staff of the Villa D'Este made our dampened week thoroughly enjoyable. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and valued. Every person we interacted with - the concierges, restaurant and bar staff, even the housekeepers - was overwhelmingly pleasant and went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible stay. The concierge staff was incredibly helpful and patient in booking - and re-booking - reservations and excursions as we worked around unpredictable weather. The restaurant and bar staff were also fantastic. We weren't able to enjoy the pool or wonderful outdoor spaces of the property very much, but we are looking forward to a return trip - hopefully with better weather, but assured we would have a wonderful time regardless.
