«It is great to have a hotel near to the hospital, their service was also great but however I think they need to change their bed, it was uncomfortable. Also my room got no wifi because it was far away. I think they need to add more wifi in several locations.»

«I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was quite spacious with a large bed. There are several eateries within walking distance, which is a plus. The only downside is the soundproofing—it's possible to hear people walking and talking in the hallway, as well as traffic noise from the nearby highway. Despite that, I was still able to get a good night’s sleep. This hotel is perfect for those visiting for work or attending weddings. I’d recommend it and would definitely return if I have an event in Penang or Kedah.»

ZZhi WenWhat I like: Friendly housekeeper. Property is new and clean, the bed seems to be clean and hygienic. No dirty/dusty spots in room and at corners. Drinking water dispenser is available at common area. Iron & ironing board at common area. Table & chairs at common area is helpful for getting some work done on laptop. Great place for a good night sleep, no noise issues during my stay. Standard USB ports (2x) on the power socket is available, if you forget your charger or need more ports.
What can be improved: Slow Wi-Fi (DL: 4mbps, UL: 0.5mbps) but it's likely an issue with the area and not unique to this property. Wi-Fi password can be displayed in room or common area. Onboarding and checking in process can be more seamless. Sound proofing of rooms is not great. No hairdryer. I did not use the pool, but if you plan on using it, you may need to inform property owner to prepare beforehand as there were little water in the pool.

The room was clean and spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a small living area included—it added an extra touch of comfort and space to relax after a long day.
Minor downside: The hotel is located near a busy junction, so do expect traffic jams during peak hours if you’re driving.
Overall, I had a great experience. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and in a very convenient spot. Would definitely recommend to travelers looking for comfort and easy access to food options.

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was top-notch, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit.
We stayed in the King’s Room, which was ideal for us. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the modern amenities made our stay feel luxurious. It was the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The variety was amazing—there were so many delicious options to choose from! Whether we were in the mood for local dishes or classic Western breakfast items, everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. It was a treat to start our mornings with such a delightful spread.
The hotel’s amenities also added to our experience. From the well-maintained facilities to the inviting atmosphere, everything was thoughtfully curated. The location of the hotel is super convenient too, making it easy for us to explore nearby attractions and enjoy Penang’s vibrant culture.
Overall, our stay at Ixora Hotel Penang was unforgettable. The combination of excellent service, a cozy and romantic room, delicious food, and great amenities made it a perfect getaway for us. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Penang and can’t wait to return!

Such as, does the door have handles outside for you to fully lock the comfort room when not in used, and is the soap dispenser intact. Overall vibes of the property is amazing. Staffs are friendly.
