Ascott Jakarta is in a prime location, offering convenient access to nearby attractions. A few minutes walk to Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia. The hotel features an old English-style interior, which gives it a classic vibe. I stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge and cooking essentials—perfect for longer stays. Toileteries, towels, slippers are also available in the rooms. This hotel is a pet-friendly, as I saw someone with a puppy during my visit. I hope Ascott did separating rooms specifically for guests with pets. The lobby is on the smaller side, but it’s acceptable since it's not overly crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Overall, a comfortable and practical choice for both short and extended stays.

Great location,excellently service and variety of food for breakfast. Room is very spacious,and clean,aircond was very cool and clean air from the system. Love to stay in this hotel. Awesome hotel in the center of metropolitan city @ Jakarta.

Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

We took the family king room which is to accomodate 3 adults. Check in time was 3pm, we arrived at 3.45pm but was told the room was not ready. However the staff at the check in counter gave us a temporary room (king deluxe room)to rest while we wait for our room to be ready. At 5pm they call saying the room was ready and we will be transfered to the our room. After we moved, we went out for dinner. At 10pm we went back to our room and realized that the sofabed was not ready and no pillow or blanket for the third adult to sleep. I call the guest service, and they came to set up. But i dont know what happened, they said the sofabed was broken so it cannot be set up. They will bring in an extra bed instead. The extra bed made the room less space to move around. I booked the room with sofabed is because i prefer to close it in day time so i have much space to roam around the room. That night also, i called the engineering team to repair the shower head holder. Because it seems not to hold the shower head properly which makes it difficult to use. They came an fixed it. But the next day, it became broken loose again. I gave up and just let it be. I dont expect this kind of room facilities from grand hyatt a five star hotel in Jakarta. Please maintain your rooms better. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciate and extremely happy for that.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service was absolutely impeccable. We were warmly welcomed at the front desk with a refreshing drink and pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room overlooking Bandaran. Upon entering our room, we found a thoughtful anniversary surprise waiting for us. One evening, while dining at the hotel restaurant, they delighted us yet again with a special anniversary cake. There wasn’t a single thing I could fault about this hotel—service, location, and ambiance were all perfect. A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer, Shifa, Yani, Palma, and Salvina for their exceptional care throughout our stay!

This place is brand new. It was good value for money with very well appointed fully serviced suites - bedroom, living and dining area, kitchenette, two bathrooms - nice. It was probably too new for comfort as there was a slight smell to the place that was not so pleasant, probably from the new fittings and fixtures. It did get better after 20-30 min of the air-conditioning coming on or maybe by then we just got used to it. :-) The breakfast buffet is nice but not top of the line. The preparations and choices were a bit ordinary underwhelming. But I guess at that price we should not be complaining. I do wish that the breakfast room had a bit more natural light - a bright space to sit and eat in, first thing in the morning adds to the feel. There is a mall literally right next to the property but the whole complex is so new that the mall was practically deserted with many places still being prepared for opening soon. Mostly we could see restaurants as we took a quick stroll through the place. If booking a Bluebird/Silverbird car service from the Bluebird rep at the Concierge desk please be careful. The prices kept changing depending on who was asking. :-) If there are discounted offers available these should be fairly offered to all guests. In summary it was not a bad experience. Will probably stay there again just for the fact that the accommodation is so spacious - having a full fledged serviced studio apartment to yourself seems much better than a regular vanilla hotel room.

Me alojé recientemente en este hotel y superó todas mis expectativas. Desde el momento en que entré, el personal fue increíblemente acogedor y atento, haciéndome sentir como en casa. La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y hermosamente decorada, y ofrecía impresionantes vistas de la ciudad. Las comodidades eran de primera categoría, desde la lujosa ropa de cama hasta el gimnasio bien equipado y las instalaciones de spa. Las opciones gastronómicas del hotel eran excepcionales, con una variedad de platos deliciosos para elegir. The services at the hotel were excellent. We enjoyed the fitness facilities and dinner offerings, which were both of high quality. The staff were exceptionally welcoming—their smiles were like sunshine, and it was evident that they are well-trained and dedicated to providing a positive guest experience. However, I was not entirely satisfied with the room. It had a large pillar in the middle, which was inconvenient and affected the overall layout. Additionally, the room was quite noisy throughout the day and night due to heavy traffic outside the windows. To make matters worse, it seemed that part of the hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay, and the constant noise from electric hammers was disruptive and made it difficult to relax. Despite these issues, I was so impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff that I convinced two of my colleagues to switch to your hotel for their stay. The well-trained team truly made a difference and left a lasting positive impression.

Recommended for family. The room was immaculate, the lobby smelled nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is well-located, making it easy to explore nearby attractions in Tanah Abang
