Horrible waste of your money, and you should go anywhere else but here! I had booked this through RCI, expecting the place to be decent, but it is far from it. If you book through RCI, you get the worst rooms that don't have a kitchen, just a tiny fridge. The bathtub they claim is excellent doesn't hold the water in, and the hot water runs out anyways. The shower is super little, and it leaks water on the ground. Plus, they don't even give you conditioner or lotion, just a small thing of shampoo and shower gel which they don't refill daily. Another thing is the TV doesn't work, and the air conditioning is the worst thing ever, so you're just roasting in your room during the summer. The bed is the hardest thing I have ever slept on, and eventually, they gave us a mattress topper, but it's still horrible and stained. The worst part is that they make you pay for an extra half-board for breakfast and cleaning. It's 280 euros for each person, so for a couple, it costs over $600 for them to give you more towels and eat a medical breakfast for a week. The breakfast is super dull since it's the same every day, and they don't refill things when they run out. It's all self-serve, including some bread that doesn't toast in the toaster, some sliced meat (the only good part), croissants, some pies that other people have touched, cereal without milk, and some fruit that doesn't look great. I swear it's the same stuff that they reuse everyday even if it's not good. The only redeeming feature is the coffee lady making you a cappuccino daily. The most challenging aspect is that no one speaks English, so you're stuck trying to explain what you need to someone who only knows a few words. I don't fault them for this as most of the staff is super friendly, but the website says they're multilingual. The only person who can help you is one lady who speaks English and is quite rude. We tried walking to the tennis courts, but they're very far away and not maintained. We took them up on the complimentary welcome drink, and the wine guy was terrific, but other than that, we were shunned by everyone. Don't even try to walk to the "town" because it's mostly older people that hate tourists, and nothing is open. We were stuck a few times without dinner because the restaurant was hosting a big group, so that they couldn't accommodate us, and there wasn't a single restaurant in town. There's nowhere to do laundry, and the closest town is 30 minutes away. While the views are lovely, there are too many bugs for it to be enjoyable, and it's so secluded. Overall we made the most of our experience by traveling to other cities almost every day and eating as much breakfast food as possible. It wasn't the worst experience, but I would warn against coming here as the accommodation could be better. If you want the seclusion you can defintiely find it at other places.
