Club Med Cefalu

Had a great time here—staff were friendly, professional, and everything was kept to a high standard. The food variety was excellent, and the entertainment was fantastic. Big thanks to Jo, Manu, and Tomasso for the amazing service and even better company—they really made the visit special!

It’s my first time in Club Med Cefalù and I stayed for 7 nights. GOs and GMs were wondering why I went all the way from Singapore. I am a Club Med lover, travel only with Club Med in the recent 10 years and visiting Cefalù was on my bucket list. I wanted to experience different vibes from Europe region 😊😊 The resort is elegant and has a unique setting which is very different from other Club Med. I stayed in a villetta with sea view. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean with breathtaking panoramic sea view. Thank you Reception and Buggy team for your excellent service 😘😘 I enjoyed my meals at all the 3 restaurants - main restaurant La Rocca, gourmet lounge Palazzo and Riva Beach restaurant. Each of them had their unique and sumptuous cuisine respectively. Kudos to Executive Chef and kitchen team! The main bar Azzurro is by the main pool is the most popular bar as other Club Med opened from morning till night with most of the activities. It’s my loved bar cause I can mingle with the GMs and GOs. I enjoyed the Covo Bar with live band music and some great music from DJ too. 95% of the GMs were from Europe and mostly communicated in Italian and French. I thought I will be parked at one corner cause I only speak English. So glad that the GO team speak English and I have garnered a lot of attention from them. The weather was great but it was cold for me, the person who lives in a place with hot weather throughout the year. I didn’t do much activities, only did one archery and one dance class. I enjoyed the night walk tour to Cefalù, it was a great experience cause it’s my 1st time in Italy. I love Cefalù team’s energy level in service and enthusiasm that contributed and committed to their job. Especially Andrea, he is a Chef de Village with high energy and strong leadership. He was seen everywhere in the premises from morning till night and he has been actively interacting with GMs and GOs. The best thing for me about the Club Med is the people - GOs, GEs and GMs. I always make some new friends at the end trip. Especially the GOs and GEs, they make all the difference. Thank you Cefalù team for your kindness and hospitality during my stay and created such a wonderful experience and beautiful memory. Doctor Louise, I’m so grateful for your thoroughness and attention to detail during my visit for the treatment of my eye infection. I can’t wait to go back and I would want to stay longer next time 😂😂

A very nice ClubMed - the setting is magnificent - unfortunately we had a few rainy days but it didn't dampen spirits and we still found lots to do. The food was excellent - lots of good choice and there were many different activities on offer. It's close to the town as well if you want to go for a walk along the promenade.

When you arrive you think Wow this looks like it will be very special. Check in feels quite personal and the room handover is nice. The rooms are excellent if a little spread out resulting in quite a trek back to the hub of the resort. That said it’s no reason to put you off as you can call a golf cart to collect you rather than walk. The buffet restaurant is good and pool bar quite nice. The view of Cefalù from the main pool and buffet is stunning. The sports facilities are good the gym ok the pool classes and music times really nice. There’s just something about the place which makes you feel a little unloved. Look we’re not the needy types but the interaction on a personal level left us a little cold. Everyone is super smiley but there’s something missing we couldn’t put our finger on. Finally I’d like to state that all the Italian staff we had dealings with many of whom spoke very little English were superb. I’d love to say we will return I just feel right now that there are much better options.
