Hoteles en Cefalú con Bar

My wife and I traveled for one week in Sicily. We stayed 4 nights at this resort and we enjoyed it immensely. It started with the check in process by Angela. She was wonderful describing all the benefits of the resort. She then smiled and said we had been upgraded to room 407. This was fantastic because this particular room was a suite with two different balconies, one facing the sea and one facing the gardens and pool. The entire ground are superbly maintained and clean. The rooms spotless, which is very important to my wife and I. The restaurant and bar staff provided great service with a smile, always willing to provide directions or recommendations. The food itself, while good was not great. Breakfast was good and a great way to start our site seeing. Be prepared to take a ten minute walk down into town. The walk back up to the resort can be challenging, but taxi's are plentiful and only 15 Euro. The resort itself is very laid back. It provided a quite get away that we were looking for. We will be back, and we highly recommend this resort.

We had a fantastic holiday. Love the hotel. It's authentic and Italian. We had no complaints about the food; there was plenty of choice. The room was immaculately clean and towels and sheets were changed frequently. We weren't affected by noise - there is a main road just outside but we were able to shut the balcony door at night and keep the air con on. The pool was lovely and it was peaceful by the pool. Staff were generally friendly - it helps if you can say a few words in Italian, particularly thank you. The staff work hard - all hours. I sometimes feel embarrassed to be British as the Brits can always find something to complain about. The weather could not have better and we loved the beach. All tourists were polite, friendly and well behaved. The 2K walk to Cefalu old town is lovely. The town itself is beautiful and full of culture and beautiful buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and lots of delicious ice cream and cannoli. I don't know what people want at times. We would give it 4 stars. Depends what you want of course. Might be different when the kids are off school. We went out of school time. Can't wait to go back.

Situado en el centro histórico de Cefalú, lo elegimos para pasar la noche y acertamos. Camas pasables y mantas adicionales. Eso sí, el A/A no funcionaba correctamente, solo salía frío y no parecía responder al mando a distancia, lo que no nos hizo gracia pues pese a ser abril nos salió una noche lluviosa y gélida. Por otro lado, cómo íbamos con coche de alquiler, para aparcar lo dejamos en el parking del puerto. Caminando se llega al hotel en aproximadamente 10 minutos y sin prácticamente desnivel. En definitiva, buena opción para pasar la noche en Cefalú.

WE had room 328 which looked out towards the town and beach. The sun hit the balcony at 7.00 and went behind the building by 9.00 which must be a relief in the peak heat days. This hotel is spotless. No odd little bits of rubbish or a glass left neatly hidden somewhere. The bar which wasn't used a great deal was below the ground floor on the pool level. Reception area was always deserted with guests but always manned. Daniel was just one of the lovely receptionists who was always helpful and pleasant. Half board was our choice with menu and waiter service. We had the same table reserved every night. The Maître d' ran the restaurant with the brilliant staff serving and clearing away efficiently and always pleasant. The food content was mainly Italian based but alternatives for everyone. All four courses. We didn't have one bad meal in the 14 days. Breakfast buffet had a massive choice and enough for anyone. Our room was very quiet. Some guests say they heard music from a basement wedding venue but three floors up we didn't hear anything. One day they held a Christening but the efficiency of the staff, which is military, didn't affect any boarders. This is not a cheap hotel but only slightly above other hotels. The pool area could be quite hot but the private beach with loungers and umbrellas within the price was a bonus. As mentioned above this is a very quiet hotel with no entertainment, happy hours and Duracells running everywhere......bliss

The setting of the hotel is the main selling point here. Gorgeous coves to go swimming and a lovely reef club with direct water access for swimming. The staff are excellent too. Unfortunately the food and rooms are a let down. Our room was tiny and resembled a hospital bedroom with nice bedding. It had a very clinical feel and we really didn’t want to spend time in it at all. The food is very average. The cheese and ham toasted sandwich in the reef club was grim, I would make better at home myself. We had lunch in the reef club and the food was very average and the menu is very boring and unimaginative. Breakfast setting is lovely outside but again the food was very average and the coffee is awful. The staff informed us they use instant coffee and you can tell immediately. My poached eggs and bacon was very bad and overcooked. The quality of the ingredients certainly is not 5 star. The hotel also charge guests for use of the kayaks, paddle boards, sauna and steam room. There is no shuttle service to go into town despite a minibus parked outside the hotel. Overall we liked the location but the hotel needs to do better.

El tratamiento del spa también se recomienda y en el gimnasio tiene una selección decente de multi-gimnasios, caminadoras, tornillos, etc. Nos quedamos en la habitación con números iguales y, desgraciadamente, un niño llamado nuestra habitación 15-20 veces durante nuestra estancia, nos despertamos a las seis de la mañana y despertamos a nuestros niños una de las noches. El hotel no podía ayudarlo y nos ofreció una hora más tarde el último día, y una bebida complementaria. El hotel está situado a unos minutos a pie de Cefalu, y a unos minutos a pie de Cefalu. Quédate en otro lugar en esta encantadora ciudad de playa

What a beautiful spot! We really enjoyed staying at Blue Bay. The location is incredible with clear blue, warm water to swim in. We appreciated the quiet, private beach very much. The rooms all have amazing views, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the daily breakfast service was wonderful! We would recommend this spot to anyone wanting to visit Cefalu in the summer looking to avoid the crowds. (We still walked into town everyday for dinner which was perfect!)
