Gallery Hostel

¡Era tan hermoso y tan bueno! Me alojé en un dormitorio mixto para 6 personas. La habitación tiene una taquilla con llave, dos baños separados y dos duchas. Los secadores también son muy buenos. También puede usar la cocina y el refrigerador compartidos. El personal fue muy amable y servicial.

Probably the best Hostel I have ever stayed , absolutely clean and spacious . Toilet and locker is well separated from the room which is great . Only downside is its location is not so convenient to access but it is located in a nice neighborhood.

I don’t like this place so much. The room smells too chemical because of new renovation. It’s not good for health.

This hostel has got everything right in my opinion. It is warm and inviting with really attentive and helpful staff. The atmosphere is fabulous, they have other offerings, paid and unpaid. It is a grown ups hostel is how another guest perfectly described it to me. Sophisticated, clean and the breakfast has a very good selection with a well furnished kitchen for preparing your own food at other times. I highly recommend this hostel and congratulate its founders for giving their guests such a positive experience.

Very clean, bathrooms immaculate and shower really nice. 24 hour check in is very convenient. Definitely recommend

Hermoso alojamiento bien pensado: el edificio exterior tiene alojamiento en albergue en el edificio principal con otras instalaciones a 30 m al otro lado de la calle. Me alojé en una hermosa habitación doble con una cama súper cómoda. La habitación se limpia todos los días. ¡Netflix en la habitación para los días de lluvia! Ubicado en el distrito de arte con excelente acceso a todos los lugares de interés ❤️ También tuve una excelente comida en el restaurante del hotel

Me alojé aquí por 4 noches en un dormitorio femenino. Fue una gran experiencia, la habitación espaciosa y todas las instalaciones estaban perfectamente limpias. Un buen detalle que la habitación tuviera un área de entrada para empacar y baño. Para 6 camas, había 2 duchas separadas y 2 baños, todo sin entrar al dormitorio real. Todo se sentía seguro con el acceso con tarjeta y las cajas de casilleros que no requerían su propio candado, pero funcionaban configurando su propio código PIN. El desayuno es muy recomendable y también las cenas comunitarias ocasionales y los eventos de cata de vinos que ofrece el albergue. La única queja es que el desayuno solo está disponible a partir de las 8 am, lo que personalmente me parece bastante tarde, pero parece que todas las comidas portuguesas son al menos 2 horas más tarde de lo que es normal para mí. Además, el albergue cuenta con una cocina compartida para usar, una sala de entretenimiento con TV y juegos de mesa y la recepción las 24 horas es muy útil con cualquier asunto, desde orientación local hasta pedir un taxi.

If you, like me, were initially puzzled by the relationship between "Gallery Townhouse & Home" and "Gallery Hostel" being in the same location, let me shed some light on it based on my recent stay at the “Gallery Townhouse & Home”. The setup might be a bit confusing at first, but here's the breakdown: while the reception, bar, and breakfast facilities are housed in the “Gallery Hostel”, the rooms are situated across the street in a separate building. During breakfast, guests from the Townhouse and Hostel are served separately. Townhouse guests enjoy a more private setting with exclusive service, including the option to order items like omelettes and English-style coffee, along with a buffet offering bread, jams, and sweets. However, coffee and juice are served at the table by the waiter, which can be slightly inconvenient if you wish to have more without repeatedly flagging down staff. The building that houses the rooms of “Gallery Townhouse & Home” is meticulously maintained and impeccably clean. I stayed in the “Fernando Pessoa” room, which was incredibly spacious with beautiful décor and a remarkably comfortable king size bed. The room came equipped with slippers, towels, bathrobe, hairdryer, and various amenities such as shampoo and cream. Additionally, the room was quiet with a pleasant view of the back. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, particularly appreciating the central location near São Bento Station and numerous tourist attractions. Despite being in the heart of the city, the surroundings were peaceful, nestled on a quiet street. One point worth mentioning is that both buildings have stairs, so individuals with mobility issues should take note of this. Not least you will receive a welcome drink, we enjoyed wine. The bar team is very friendly and friendly. There was even a situation with a guest who appeared to be drunk and started to make trouble with the attendants, they were impeccable in their patience and dealing with this guest. In summary, while there were a few minor hiccups, my experience at “Gallery Townhouse & Home” was overwhelmingly positive, and I would recommend it to others seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.
