INCONSIDERATE MANAGEMENT
We chose to stay at Noble Hotel because I was intrigued by their breakfast at Skydeck 360. Upon checking in, while being assisted by a staff member, I handed over my elevator key, but accidentally dropped it in the elevator shaft.
Fortunately, it was replaced immediately, and I was assured that the hotel regularly checks their elevators. The hotel itself was pleasant, but when I checked out, the front desk informed me that I had to pay 500 pesos for the lost keycard.
The frontdesk even asked Supervisor Zyl if the charge could be waived since it was an accident and I wasn't informed beforehand that I would be charged for the elevator incident. While I enjoyed my stay, I found the management to be inconsiderate. This was the first time I experienced such a lack of understanding. I would have accepted the charge if I had intentionally lost the keycard, but it was an accident that occurred in the presence of their staff.
