I love getting up in the morning pouring myself a cup of coffee and sitting on the front watching the sun rise over the mountain tops and listening to the ocean in the background. It is so peaceful in this wonderful neighborhood. The ocean and in my opinion the best beach in Cayucos is less than 150 yards away from the front door of this perfect beach cottage. Everything you need is here just bring your suitcase and a good book. You are walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and saloons. Walking the the beach at sunset and having a glass of wine is a great way to end another perfect day in Cayucos.Keywords: Quiet neighborhood in the numbered streets. Volleyball area in the cove.This home is a beautiful cottage built in the early 1900's and has been completely restored and updated with all of the creature comforts you need to relax and make this your get away destination. This is truly a great cottage, but there is no question that being on the beach makes all of the difference in the world! You don't have to walk the kids to the beach! They are there! The hot water shower is right there in the backyard, steps away from the beach. If you have stayed in a home on the beach, you understand! If you haven't, now is your opportunity!The central coast is the up and coming wine region of California. Templeton, Paso Robles, Edna Valley and even Cayucos and Cambria offer many destination wineries to tour, taste and buy. If you are not into wine touring, there are so many activities right outside your door. You may decide to park the car and just stay put for the week.
