I have just returned from a 10 day trip as part of a group of 3 adults and 3 kids (6,8,10). Overall we had a really good holiday and a good experience at Camping Garden Paridiso. We travelled from Edinburgh to Venice Marco Polo airport with Ryanair and got generally cheap flights (£600 for the whole party) and pre booked a taxi to pick us up from airport and take us to park. We stayed in a Eurocamp Premium lodge and even though we arrived at 11am and our accommodation wasn’t supposed to be ready until 4pm, the Eurocamp reps had it ready for us on arrival (huge thanks for that Barbara and Billy). The cabin was spacious, clean and well equipped. We did not hire a car but didn’t find at necessary as the camp is on a bus route. The camp shop was quite pricy (most supermarkets on campsites are to be fair) so we hopped on the bus to Jesolo and did a big shop in Lidl. The Garden Paridiso staff saw us carrying the shopping bags and arranged for a staff member to drive us and our shopping bags to our cabin in a golf buggy and help us inside with them -this was so kind and helpful. We used the camp shop for mostly bread, bakery items and the wine on tap (which is amazing). The Eurocamp reception also had a leftover food station so you could take/leave extra food. This saved us lots of money on essentials such as oil, condiments and seasonings. We also left lots of leftovers when we were leaving to save the food from going to waste. The camp is huge but it is kept very clean and attractive. The private beach is fantastic. The park at the beach is also great for the kids. They have a great number of different water sports and equipment you can hire on the beach which wasn’t too overly priced The restaurant on the beach was good value for money and the pizzas were delicious. The ice cream shop is also very good value (less than 2 euro a single cone) and delicious. They do incredible slushes in the bar for 3 euros as well (so refreshing on a hot day) We found all the bar, shop, restaurant staff very attentive and friendly. Entertainment staff were great and so welcoming and hard working (shoutout to Viola who was so sweet). My kids loved the Holi paint party on the beach (it was quite pricy at 3 euros a bag for a small bag of paint though). The evening entertainment was also very good and the kids loved the mini disco. The only thing that really let this camp down was the pool area (mainly the pool rules and sun bed situation). The indoor and outdoor swimming pool facilities, slides etc were great but the lifeguards were very strict(no jumping in pool, a lot of inflatables weren’t allowed etc) and the pool was shut between 1-3pm (the hottest time of the day when we need to cool down the most). On one occasion a lifeguard told me and my 6 year old nephew that f he jumped in the pool again he was getting chucked out of the pool and banned, which I thought was a bit extreme. The funny thing was during the pool party on Saturday, the enter
