However hidden away this seems, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the service throughout could not be faulted. The suite we were offered was slightly bizarre so we stayed in a Junior Suite which was really lovely. Breakfast was great too, even for off season

We have never been to Castigione del Lago. Spent 4 days and three nights with Hotel Boutique. This family run hotel was fab. Our room and patio had a beautiful view of the town and lake. This is a small town. Quiet in the off season. Lots of sights in the area including the best true castle i have ever been to as well as walks thru the town and around the city walls. The family of Paulo, Roberta, Mateo and Julia who so pleasant and helpful. Our other hotels stays before and after Hotel Boutique were sterile by comparison.

We spent the e weekend in Castiglione and stayed at Hotel Boutique. Excellent location, super-central. Exquisite room with antique fresco on the walls, but with all the modern comforts. A very warm welcome from the team there. A special mention goes to the cotton towels, a very nice touch there, thank you! Shout out to the wonderful breakfast too. We’ll be back when on the area. Great job!

The best hotel in Castiglione del Lago! Immaculate, modern, spacious rooms in the perfect location, Paolo and his staff not only provided us with fantastic suggestions in the surrounding areas, their hospitality was the best and we cant to go back!

We stayed in the deluxe suite of the Hotel Boutique Castiglione del Lago this week. The room is lovely, with an amazing balcony that gives you a full view of the lake. From there, you can capture all of the light that makes Umbria famous, both sunset and sunrise. The package we chose included open minibar, a bottle of wine, and breakfast. Because it is off season, our breakfast, pre-ordered, was delivered to us on our terrace at the time of our choosing. The room is spotless, the bed heavenly, the shower indulgent. We slept in the cool and quiet, with the door to the terrace open (and a great screen door to keep the mosquitos out!). But above all, the best thing that the Hotel has going for it is its staff -- Paolo greeted us enthusiastically, personally showing us the room, gave us some history, and then pointed out who lived where around the lake. He took care of our every concern and recommended a fantastic place for dinner that showed off the areas tremendous seafood. The morning crew was just as delightful, with suggestions on the best time to come back, when the Christmas festival was going to be, and when the spring celebration of the start of the tourist season was. There is not a better place to stay in Castiglione del Lago to get a good night's sleep -- and most importantly, to hear the pride of the residents in a place they so clearly love.

An exceptional welcome, marvelous room, flawless service! We had a wonderful stay and will certainly return. Paolo is a very attentive and friendly host who didn't hesitate to walk the extra mile to make our stay truly special. Breakfast on the terrace with an all-round lake view was unforgettable.
