Locanda in Tuscany

This is a truly magical place that is made even more special by the staff and the great countryside location. The accommodation is beautiful, I stayed here for 5 nights with my husband on a two week trip around Italy and this was by far my favourite. Marika, Inder and Marco go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and helping us with making plans and reservations (greatly appreciated with my patchy Italian!). The room was very rustic but still spotlessly clean, a very minor bit of feedback would maybe be some nicer seating outside room 5 to be able to sit out in the sun with a coffee but we were very happy hanging out around the pool area. We even saw some deer running through the fields while have our breakfast! Thanks all for a wonderful stay!

Laid back atmosphere. Cosy rooms and attentive staff. We were warmly welcomed by the team on arrival and shown to a lovely stone built room with its own outdoor area overlooking the stunning valley. Throughout our stay everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating; making reservations at restaurants for us and helping us with ideas for things to do in the local area. We had an issue with the air con unit making a lot of noise; someone came to fix it within half an hour of reporting. Very happy with that. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were available once we asked for them. A bit basic, but more than adequate. The buffet breakfasts were amazing; as was the restaurant food in the evenings. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable (especially with recommending wines to pair with food). A highlight was the 5 course, wine pairing evening with two brothers from a local winery. Very enjoyable and romantic with gorgeous food and wine. Definitely recommend.

Perfection in Locanda. From start to finish a phenomenal stay. Location and views blew us away. Accommodation just lovely. Bed, super comfy. Stand out feature is the staff who were simply brilliant. From Inder on the front desk to Francesco, Adrian, Claudia, Anna and Alllesandro who were on hand to help with all your needs, to the cleaners and staff in the background who all strive, with passion, to make your experience special. Best customer service we’ve received in a long while. Outstanding.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Locanda is perfectly located in the heart of Tuscany, close to many good wineries and little towns. Amazing food and service. I trully enjoyed my stay. Thank you!!

We had a great 2 nights here. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The setting is peaceful and a great getaway for anyone looking for some quiet and tranquility. We loved the room, very comfortable large bed. The restaurant was very tasty, and the breakfast offering was perfect. Andrea, who served us both nights was excellent, great local knowledge and was happy share some stories with us. Which made the experience all the more relaxing and enjoyable. 10:/10

Thank you for a fantastic stay! We visited Locanda in Tuscany in August 2023, and what a wonderful stay we had. The room was beautiful, romantic, clean, and incredibly peaceful. The service from all the staff and employees at Locanda provided a 10/10 experience. The food and wine in the restaurant were also beyond complaint. We would be more than happy to come again - hopefully soon.
