El paisaje es maravilloso, pero el trato de algunos empleados no es muy amable. Hay que esperar hasta las 8.30 am para desayunar. La cena es carísima y los platos que sirven no alcanzan ni para una persona. Es muy difícil bajar al pueblo sin auto ya que es muy empinado. No ofrecen tampoco una solución como hemos tenido, por ejemplo, en Sorrento donde siempre había un conductor a disposición. No brindan sugerencias de tours ni restaurants cercanos. Sin auto es imposible ir. Tampoco si uno quiere empezar temprano el día después de desayunar. Y creo que si hablas español hay cierto aire discriminatorio.

This is an awesome agriturismo. Service, location, views, cleanliness, food, and accommodations were all great. Communication was clear and responded to timely from the moment we booked. It's small agriturismo that gives you the perfect balance between hotel accommodations and being at an Airbnb in Toscana. No regrets. Will be back once they build the pool to complete a perfect summer scape.

This was the best stay in our entire 2-week visit through the Chianti and Siena area! The place was so wonderful, clean and comfortable - in fact it’s relatively new. Delicious breakfast and dinners; relaxing lounge areas, terrific jacuzzi to cool off, and the room itself was cozy and nice. The BEST part of the stay is the staff - particularly Alessandro and Greta and team. super friendly and accommodating. They made my little girl feel great and even brought in local carrots and cucumbers because they knew were her favorite. every day we were greeted with smiles and genuine warmth and it made our stay extra special.

Place is new and the whole winery started only 2 years ago. Apartments are really nice and many small good details e.g. good minibar and good bathroom products. The service was perfect. Receptionist was helpful and kitchen staff really friendly the whole visit. We also got private and really good wine tasting for their own wines. Breakfast wasn’t the best but good enough. Maybe a bit more fruits would make it better. Own car is quite vital and the road there is a bit steep. I would recommend this place.

The hotel is about 20 min drive from Siena on a very quiet little hill and one of the highlight of the place is their restaurant in which they serve amazing food (the boar ragu pappardelle!). Booking is recommended as they also attract locals and tourists staying in the area. Being relatively newly opened, Pensieri Di Cavatina offers very modern facilities in a traditional style designed building. The room we chose was very quiet and well decorated. We were there a bit too early in the year to enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi but I am sure we will be back to try it soon. The main highlight is the team running the hotel and restaurant: super friendly and helpful to arrange excursions in the area. We bought some of their own production olive oil and wine when we left to keep a souvenir of our very nice stay.

This hotel was a great little find by my girlfriend. So relaxing and peaceful, we found the staff to be really friendly and helpful with some great local recommendations. Will definitely stay here again!

For our Tuscan leg of our Italian Honeymoon we wanted to try out one of the Agroturismo and found this establishment via *********** and booked for a three night stay in April. It did not disappoint. The guesthouse was small yet charming with amazing views outside of our door. Staff was very friendly and accommodating with amazing dinner service and breakfast. It was a perfect home base for our exploration of Tuscany.

Great view! Had dinner on the first day but it was ok (not great). The room has a kitchen, pots and pans, but when we asked if we could borrow some plates and utensils, the staff said no (then why have the kitchen at all?)

I was fortunate to be one of the first guests soon after the Pensieri opened last year. I loved it then. And I loved it even more this time -- which was hard for me to believe because the first visit was so enjoyable. I love everything about the place. The setting on a hill overlooking the Tuscan landscape. The renovation-related architecture (by well-known architect Andrea Milani and his team at Studio Milan, based in nearby Siena). And the staff. They make it all happen. They attended to every detail for me from the moment I arrived -- to when I left. The meals at the restaurant were all perfect. I was also fortunate to be there for the Cavatina Music Camp, which was a multi-day music festival. An incredible line up of performers. I encourage you to experience this special place.
