When booking a room, the website clearly states that the pool and hot tub are closed for renovation. Honesty appreciated, however, potential guests are not told that the entire first and second floors of the hotel are undergoing renovation. The lobby, check-in desk, restaurant--everything. (Temporary check-in is via the back door, in a dumpy hallway. A small, ground-floor restaurant is also available.) The rear parking lot is packed with equipment and supplies, making many parking spaces unavailable. On check-in day, I received a text advising about the construction and temporary entrance. Our third-floor room and adjacent hallway was newly remodeled and very nice, but also smelled of paint and rubber. This hotel will be lovely once the construction is done, but not now. Hilton should be disclosing this and not charging the normal nightly rate.
