While I understand this is a relatively new property, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom in my room. Upon arrival, I found several hairs on the bathroom floor and mat, which did not reflect the standards of cleanliness I typically expect from a Marriott hotel—especially one that is newly opened. To be candid, the condition of the bathroom made me extremely uncomfortable, to the point where I was hesitant to use it. It was genuinely off-putting.

I was very disappointed. The hotel staff was not accommodating and unfriendly when I had an issue with my room. I found HAIR in my bed after I checked in and they REFUSED to send someone up to remake my bed because it was after hours. So, I left and stayed at a different hotel. They then made it extremely challenging to get my money back. I DO NOT RECCOMEND STAYING HERE!

Rooms are perfect when you are traveling with family and kids. The apartment has everything you needed to make breakfast or a quick lunch. There is no restaurant during the day and very overpriced when is open for the quality of the Mexican food. However there is plenty of restaurants close by. We had a not so good experience as we left an evening dress and a new Lulu lemon shirt in the closet. We called right away, however were told it was not found by the housekeeper, which tells me she did not clean or look in the closet, so whoever came after kept it or kept it for him or herself. Very disappointed as this is a Marriot. I tried to talk to the manager, however a call was never returned. 😕

As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy status member for several years, I’ve come to expect a certain level of service and consistency—unfortunately, this stay was far from it. My experience at this hotel was frustrating from the moment I arrived, largely due to the lack of responsiveness from housekeeping and the failure to fulfill basic service requests. Despite multiple conversations with the front desk assuring me that issues would be addressed, nothing was followed through. Housekeeping was either extremely delayed or didn’t show up at all, and requests for items like towels or toiletries had to be made several times—if they were ever delivered. The lack of urgency and communication was incredibly disappointing. This is not the level of service I’ve come to associate with the Marriott brand. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the guest experience, especially for those who have remained loyal to the Bonvoy program.

I paid $2112.42 for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom partial ocean view suite for our anniversary. The "partial" water view is behind a parking lot, construction site, & buildings. Both the living /dining/kitchen room & the bedroom were 55 degrees, with NO ability to change it. We called at least 15 times to ask them to increase it t 68. 1 day they made it 80 degrees out of spite. It was 75% humidity in the room & we were sweating the minute we got out of the shower. We asked them to change both rooms to 68, so they lowered it back to 55. We froze our tails off for 5 nights. Internet didn't work in the room, hair dryer had exposed wires, so not usable, broken glass in kitchen cabinet, & staff was condescending. The only restaurant/bar in the place was never open when we went to it, so never got to try that. They put us in a room right above an automated gate that beeped loudly for 2 minutes every time a car came/went, which was a lot. So sitting on the balcony was not at all peaceful between that & all the cars coming & going to try to find a parking spot in the parking lot between us & the ocean. I'm a Bonvoy member, so asked for a late check out & they said no. Most likely because we complained about the freezing room...again probably just being spiteful. The immediate area this place is in is very sketchy...we couldn't walk outside the hotel at night. I would find somewhere else to stay, as this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in my many, many years with Marriott.

This is such a lovely hotel within footsteps to the Isla Verde Beach. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was perfect; it was spacious, clean and cozy. I got a room with a balcony where I could see the beach. The beds were comfy, full size fridge with plenty room, bathroom was spacious, everything I needed for a great stay. WHAT A WONDERFUL STAY!!! I will be back.

As many others have pointed out, the rooms are fine-large and reasonably modern in design. The location on Isla Verde is convenient to the airport and the beach, however the view from the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. Personally I wouldn’t pay the upgrade for a water “view” again as it’s really just a sliver you can see through the middle of two surrounding apartment buildings. As multiple people have pointed out, service is poor. They inexplicably never have any beach towels, although we witnessed an interesting interaction where another guest made a scene about this and they magically produced towels from somewhere. There’s also no acknowledgment of Bonvoy status, much less any water on check in and certainly no status upgrades. I asked for a late checkout on my check-in day and was told to call back the day before I left when (not surprisingly at this point) they told me they didn’t have any more late checkouts left. All in all for the price I paid, it was a really poor value. This is a prime example of a pretty decent hard product that’s absolutely ruined by inept staff/management.

The room's AC was just a conning act. It doesn't keep the room any cooler than without it, and the temperature indoors will change as the outdoors. They will not give you towels even if you request them, by excuses like housekeeping has gone home. Yes, this is the only hotel in the world you cannot get towels from the front desk. I suggest you should not pay more to get a view, because you will end up with no view, or an abandoned building view. They charge $20 for parking, and yet with a small parking lot, it's likely you will have to park in an apartment building's parking lot that is about 2 blocks away. The so called infinite pool was so gross that nobody would dare to get in. It's right by the bar too, without a door or wall, so it's weird. This is worse than motel experiences and services but charges you a luxurious hotel rate.

The place is not bad, we stayed 4 days, they were helpful when asking for extra towels, i went with my family and it is quiet in itself but strange, one day I saw one of the employees in what seemed like an argument with another employee followed by kissing her and then the next day i see the same guy kissing what looked like another employee who wasn't the one from the day before, things definitely happen in the place but everything is clean and comfortable.
