I paid $2112.42 for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom partial ocean view suite for our anniversary. The "partial" water view is behind a parking lot, construction site, & buildings. Both the living /dining/kitchen room & the bedroom were 55 degrees, with NO ability to change it. We called at least 15 times to ask them to increase it t 68. 1 day they made it 80 degrees out of spite. It was 75% humidity in the room & we were sweating the minute we got out of the shower. We asked them to change both rooms to 68, so they lowered it back to 55. We froze our tails off for 5 nights. Internet didn't work in the room, hair dryer had exposed wires, so not usable, broken glass in kitchen cabinet, & staff was condescending. The only restaurant/bar in the place was never open when we went to it, so never got to try that. They put us in a room right above an automated gate that beeped loudly for 2 minutes every time a car came/went, which was a lot. So sitting on the balcony was not at all peaceful between that & all the cars coming & going to try to find a parking spot in the parking lot between us & the ocean. I'm a Bonvoy member, so asked for a late check out & they said no. Most likely because we complained about the freezing room...again probably just being spiteful. The immediate area this place is in is very sketchy...we couldn't walk outside the hotel at night. I would find somewhere else to stay, as this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in my many, many years with Marriott.
