We had a fantastic family meal here, they easily catered for all 20 of us and we had our own space in the restaurant. The food is superb and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. Some of us also stayed over and the the rooms are really comfy with spectacular views across the bay. The breakfast was also amazing. I couldn't fault anything about our meal and our stay, definitely a hidden gem.

Excellent staff good fresh cooked breakfasr and evening meal stayed 4nights would recommend free Wi-Fi and we stayed in room 9 perfect small sitting room with tv onto bedroom very comfortable bed and large bathroom with shower cubicle and a bath

Went here today 18 August and on entering we decided we liked it. Lovely bar area, plenty of tables and ample outside seating. We were just going to have a drink, but decided to have a bite to eat. The menu isn’t massive ( thank goodness, who needs all that choice) but the Sunday roasts passing us for other diners looked amazing! We had a sandwich each with possibly THE BEST CHIPS I’ve ever eaten !!! Attentive not intrusive staff, gorgeous surroundings and welcoming atmosphere. We will be back to stay over. Go and try the chips!!

Some good some not so ! Good - friendly and helpful staff Ok - meals Poor - wine selection by glass (at bar) - All were Jack Rabbit variety !? Savignon Blanc was dire. Lipstick on glass ! Shabby outside and garden - on previous visits it was better so felt like things had slipped

Absolutely fantastic bar. Great staff, really friendly and the food is just incredible. The burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Chips were truly outstanding. The fish pie was beautiful and the pulled pork special was superb. Very reasonably priced too.

Absolutely superb food, service and ale... cannot ask for more! The food was great, piping hot, tasty and the chips "were to die for" Cracking place to visit for a pint, meal or even stay, we always try and call in when we visit Arnside & Silverdale! Lovely staff, great beer, nice beer garden!!

Had a great stay at the Silverdale. The room was lovely and the service and food were second to none. The staff were very friendly and the service they gave was excellent. They even sent me my phone charger in the post after I carelessly left it in the room (thank you!). Nothing was too much trouble for them. A really enjoyable stay - thank you to the lovely young waitress who serviced us dinner and the lovely lady at breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful find- food superb. Love the touch of sauces being brought before you eag so one doesn’t have to wait child food goes cold. Fish pie was delicious ( almost as good as mine said partner- he’s a wise man) and the mince beef pie was amazing. Well worth a visit .

Just had a hectic weekend wedding at the nearby Leighton Hall and stayed at the Silverdale Hotel which turned out to be a great decision as the whole stay was rushed and busy but when we arrived at the Silverdale we checked in and was made too feel welcome and cared for, the bedrooms are well above standard and the breakfast was the best I've had anywhere in the country, the staff could not be more helpful and we are defiantly going back for a weekend break so we can sample more of the evening menu and several pints from the very well stocked and staffed bar Thankyou to all the staff well done. Neil and family.
