Hotel pequeño . Muy tranquilo. Separado de la orilla del lago por una estrecha carretera. Justo enfrente de un pequeño embarcadero. Se puede acceder a los barcos que navegan el lago ( aunque a horas limitadas). Ambiente apacible. Restaurante muy bueno. Muy amables. Plaza de parking necesaria ( dispone de 6). Muy recomendable. Calidad/precio ok para la zona.

Tres joli. Lits confortables. Belle vue sur le lac. Facilité d’avoir l’arrêt de bateau juste en face. Seul bémol peu de restos ou bars aux alentours à part celui de l’hôtel qui est délicieux mais cher. Pas de plats enfants. Le personnel est charmant et serviable. Les chambres propres et la plupart posèrent une petite terrasse agréable.

Hotel muy lindo, habitaciones amplias, hermosas vistas, decoración acorde, excelente atención. X célebre desayuno. Muy buena ubicación frente al lago, acceso a restaurantes, bares. El restaurante del Hotel es excelente, los precios acordes a la calidad.

We have just returned from 4 nights at Hotel Orso Bruno, travelling as a family of 4 and couldn't have had a more wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived through to going home, the friendly and personal service we received from all of the team was just amazing, our every need was met and everyone went out of their way to assist and help us have the most fantastic holiday. As a family of 4, with girls aged 13 and 9, we had 2 rooms and both were great, very comfy and extremely clean. We ate in the hotel's onsite restaurant at both breakfast and dinner times and again, the level of service, choice and standard of food was absolutely outstanding - not forgetting the stunning views from your table out over the lake. Located literally just 20 footsteps from the ferry stop, to allow you to navigate your way around the lake, this hotel simply has everything you need for a great stay. For us, the best thing however was the team that own and run Hotel Orso Bruno, they are all outstanding. Thank you again to everyone there for helping us have an unforgettable stay, something that will stay long in the memory for us and our girls

Room 205 is definitely the best! With the best view and the biggest terrace! The staff are super lovely here and made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. We had breakfast one morning in the hotel and it was lovely! Even had some food for my boyfriend who’s a vegan! Only issue we had the whole time was it was a bit awkward how the storage room for the cleaners was literally right next to our room and heard them scuffling about in the morning outside our room.

Our recent stay at Hotel Orso Bruno was an absolute delight. We booked a family room with a lake view, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, perfect for our family, with one comfortable double bed and two single beds for the kids. We appreciated the fact that the free WiFi worked seamlessly across multiple devices, which kept everyone connected during our stay. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking views of Lake Como. Whether it was breakfast or dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, the scenery was simply stunning. It's rare to find a place where you can enjoy your meal with such incredible views. The breakfast was continental, but the team was kind enough to go the extra mile and offer to make me an omelette with toast, which I really appreciated. The location of Hotel Orso Bruno is another standout feature. The hotel is situated right across from the ferry stop, making it incredibly convenient to explore the surrounding areas. Whether we wanted to visit Bellagio or Como, the ferry was just a few steps away. If you're planning on heading to Bellagio, keep in mind there are two ferries available, so be sure to ask the hotel staff or check the ferry timetable in advance. Now, I have to talk about the staff, who really made our stay feel special. They treated us like family and took excellent care of me and my children. My son has specific dietary requirements due to allergens, and the way the staff catered to his needs was beyond amazing. I want to give a special thanks to Samuele and Antonia, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made all the difference, and we are so grateful for their efforts. Antonia, thank you especially for all your help — you truly made us feel at home. In summary, Hotel Orso Bruno is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Lake Como with the comfort of a welcoming atmosphere. The combination of spacious, clean rooms, stunning views, and exceptional staff made our stay one to remember. We’ll definitely be returning and can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The owners and all of the staff were wonderful. We ate at the restaurant two times and the food was delicious! We can’t wait to come back next year…this time we are staying longer. Thank you for making the end of our trip so memorable.

My wife and I enjoyed an idyllic stay at the Hotel Orso Bruno in Urio, Lake Como in June 2024. It is really such a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend visiting this hotel if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. It is a small boutique hotel with just 10 rooms, each with different features. You must request for a room with a lake view because not all of them have views of the lake - some rooms have much better views than others, so book early! One of my favorite things about this hotel is the staff - everyone was so pleasant and friendly - we felt as if we were being taken care of by a big happy family. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was lovely, with a beautiful view of the lake and a really tasty and healthy breakfast with home-made cakes and jams. Something I looked forward to every morning. There is very limited parking so book ahead to secure a parking spot if you are driving. The best thing about the hotel is that the Urio ferry dock is literally right at the doorstep, which makes it really convenient to catch the ferry to Como or Bellagio/Varenna/Menaggio. One word of advice - Urio is a tiny little village hence there is not much to do in Urio itself. We used it as a base to make day trips to Bellagio, Como and Varenna. The ferry ride to Bellagio takes 1.5 hours though so be sure to factor in enough time for the journey. Also, there are very limited ferries - for example from Urio to Bellagio there are only 2 ferries that depart at 0954 and 1037 in the morning and 2 return ferries from Bellagio at 1400 and 1710.
