Certainly nice for young people who love music, ambiance, sport. But certainly not for a couple like us who wished to rest, enjoy the region en enjoy good food. Too noisy. Techno and rap music every afternoon. Nevertheless confortable and clean.

The staff is amazing, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the bed is perfect. The kitchen is perfect for every day. I was surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. Beach near the hotel. Very nice and wonderful staff, I was impressed with their service. A special big Thank you to the lifeguard. He is a person of extraordinary kindness who is very considerate and will always help if you need something. I will return to this hotel. I think it's a great place to relax. Ruslan

We had a brilliant week at Porto Giardino as a family of four (children aged 2 and 4) in late June 2023. The weather was perfect the week we were there and the hotel was not too busy (more so at the weekends and probably in July and early August). We speak Italian but it's not essential to do so to enjoy yourself here. Staff were kind and courteous at all times, going above and beyond to help us out. Particular thanks to the reception and housekeeping staff. The rooms are fine, but could do with updating. However, the beds are comfortable, the air-con is good, and everything works. Having a room with two entrances on the ground floor was brilliant for us so we could sit outside and come and go a little bit while the kids slept. We didn't go on holiday to spend time in the hotel room anyway - it did the job perfectly. The hotel grounds are nicely landscaped and pleasant to walk around. All inclusive was a great deal for us, with lots of choice at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus access to the separate Pizzeria Il Pugliese, which made for a nice change. The buffet gets a bit tiring after a week, but it's the same everywhere and a great option to have as a family. In Capitolo, a short walk, there are some nice fish restaurants and pizzerie if you fancy a change. You can get a shuttle bus into Monooli for more restaurants and shops. The local theme night was great fun with traditinal dancing, aperitivo and crafts. The pools were beautiful, with plenty of loungers while we were there except on one busy day. The small kids pool meant the little ones could play safely and make friends. Minor negative: for us the music around the pool was a bit loud and annoying sometimes, but it's normal in Italy. The other guests were very friendly and welcoming to our kids. There was a lovely atmosphere. The sandy beach is 2 minutes walk from the hotel and it was easy to find a space whenever we wanted to go (book at reception ideally the day before). The staff down there were again so kind to our children, finding toys for them and moving umbrellas around. The sea was calm and clear, beautiful. Nelloland playground and activities (minigolf, tennis, football) were good fun to break up the day and in good condition. The "animation" and kids club staff were enthusiastic and fun; it is mainly aimed at Italian-speakers but the kids were still able to join in sometimes. Overall it is a very Italian resort: English is spoken everywhere but the food, activities and atmosphere is pure Italy. That's a great positive in our opinion, but don't expect an international resort. Capitolo, similarly, is not heavily touristed and is authentically Italian. We would definitely recommend Porto Giardino and may try other hotels in the CDS chain in future. Grazie a tutti!

Ultimo vero villaggio…Rio Tommasino a capo di questo villaggio ha fatto un lavoro straordinario con la sua squadra, insieme al direttore hanno ridato vita a ciò che nel 2021 per me è stato solo un incubo . Siamo ritornati con molta diffidenza e pessimismo ma il prezzo proposto mi hanno fatto cambiare idea , posizione strategica mal che vada siamo a 10-15 minuti dai migliori posti e spiaggia della Puglia , quindi abbiamo scelto Porto Giardino per la seconda volta e ci ritorneremo sicuramente!!! Ideale per vacanza di famiglia e relax . Andiamo in ordine . ACCOGLIENZA E OSPITALITÀ: mi sentivo come a casa in tutti i sensi ogni mia richiesta o problema veniva subito esaudita . SPIAGGIA : Raffaele gestisce il lido una grande persona ! piccolissima e tutto concentrato , è l’unico handicap per chi immagina o ama spiagge larghe e spaziose , qui vige la regola dell’arrangiarsi se hai pretese non va bene il mare a riva non è un granché basta allontanarsi e sei in un mare fantastico, purtroppo non c’è spazio per tutti pochi ombrelloni e lettini attaccati uno con l’altro e poi devi prenotare alla reception il posto giorno per giorno sembra assurdo io vado in vacanza per il mare ho delle limitazioni?! purtroppo è così !! ma puoi optare per altre mete vicine raggiungibili a piedi oppure hanno un lido loro convenzionato ma devi pagare tu di tasca tua , cosa che nel 2021 noi abbiamo fatto per non rovinarci del tutto la Vacanza . Oppure starsene in piscina , anche quella è bella larga spaziosa e rilassante se ti metti nella parte alta , piscine tra anche per bimbi piccoli ci sta e altre due grandi e larghe . Pulite tutte !!! CAMERE : piccolissime per una famiglia di 4 persone ma sempre sistemate pulite e comode , ma piccola per noi che eravamo 4 persone . CUCINA : voto medio , per un 4* trovandomi in Puglia non posso mangiare pesce congelato erano poche e rare delle scelte di pesce fresco ma quasi sempre surgelato , alla fine menù è con molte variazioni e rotazione dei prodotti ma si potrebbe migliorare con un pizzico in più . Io preferivo mangiare al Pugliese perché era molto più pulito meno caotico e ci stava Don Antonio il Maitre che ti coccolava accontentava in ogni richiesta anche con molti sorrisi , 62 anni e’ un vero grande professionista , lavoratore e persona , onore a lui persone di altri tempi , nella sala giù troppa aria fredda e distaccata trasmetteva la Signora Maitre . ANIMAZIONE: a parer mio è stato speso tutto per questo gruppo capitanato Da Rio Tommasino , un mostro , un grande sempre con il sorriso , sempre attento e lo stesso vale x i suoi ragazzi grandiosi strepitosi Maria eccezionale Gianluca Omar Felice tutti tutti tutti bravi , un super programma ricco intenso esaustivo di eventi e sorprese cibo e bevande allo sbafo sono stato due settimane e non mi sono annoiato per nulla fino alla fine con Pianti e abbracci quando chiudono la settimana con fuochi d’artificio . Voto 10 all’animazione . 10 al direttore. 6 alla cucina non è colpa loro .
