Villa Carnicelli completely exceeded all expectations. If you think it looks good on the photos, wait until you see it in real life! Francesca and her father couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a quick history lesson as we arrived, learning all about the origins of the incredible house, and lots of recommendations for shops and restaurants. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable. The worst part was having to leave!! We would come back in an instant

The perfect Tuscan villa
This restored villa in the hills outside Lucca was a dream come true. Francesca is an amazing, charming host. From the fully stocked kitchen to the beautiful bedrooms with lovely linens to the outdoor seating areas among terra cotta pots of citrus, with a view of the spectacular valley below, Villa Carnicelli exceeded our wildest hopes. Truly a unique and magical place. We can't wait to return.

True Tuscan Villa
This Villa was like taking a step back in time. The owners have renovated to bring you modern amenities yet have taken special care to restore the history rather than erasing it.
The owners were amazing hosts. The surrounding area had many small towns with plenty of charm.

Perfect Tuscan Escape.
I highly recommend the villa hosted by Francesca for an unforgettable getaway. Our stay was nothing short of amazing, with every detail meticulously thought out. The property itself is a breathtaking oasis. Francesca and Stefano prepared an exceptional dinner, and the wine tasting and twilight picnic were dreamlike experiences. If you're looking for a remarkable retreat, this property should be at the top of your list.

Plenty of space in this premium villa! The pictures are very accurate and reflect the luxurious features of this beautiful home. Francesca is the most gracious host we have ever met and we highly recommend that you add some of her wonderful dinners, tours, or a pasta-making class during your stay. We will be back!

Heaven on earth!
This villa is the most spectacular residence we've ever stayed at anywhere in the world. Everything you could ever need is readily available -- but more importantly, the hosts made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. HIGHLY recommend reservations for a dinner cooked by Francesca, and a pasta cooking class she recommended, too. The home offers a lifetime memory established in one of the most beautiful surroundings on the planet. Book your stay now and prepare to be amazed!!

Beautiful villa with lovely host
Brilliant week away in Tuscan countryside. Villa was very spacious as were the grounds. Recently restored to it's historic grandeur, very well equipped kitchen and outside BBQ area. Pool was big enough for family fun although as expected not a swimmers pool.
Francesca was a delightful host and we also enjoyed the pasta class with Stefano at Non Mi Pasta Piu laboratory.
Close to Pisa and Lucca and Florence/Siena/coast a day trip away.
Highly recommended for a week away from it all...
