«The room smelt like someone had smoked in it.
The elevator had unofficial repairs and was 5-6 layered pieces of broken mirror.
The elevators and doors were tigher so it was hard to manuever the cart and our stroller around.
The food was really good in the morning.
The staff was pleasant and due to delays they extended our checkout.
The shuttle was also really nice and they were super helpful.»

«I recently stayed at the Sandman Hotel and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and conveniences. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome. There’s also a nice restaurant attached to the hotel, which was very convenient and served excellent food.
The only downside was the loud noise from the train on the street below, which could be disruptive at times. Despite this, I would still recommend the hotel for its prime location and excellent service.»

«Excelente relación calidad-precio para una estancia corta cerca del YYC, con un desvío desde la carretera principal BarlowTrail NE. La entrada principal es un poco confusa si se accede desde la zona industrial trasera.
El personal fue amable y profesional; el depósito por daños es el habitual en los hoteles y la persona que se aloja es muy atenta.
La habitación era muy espaciosa y limpia, aunque un poco anticuada. El aire acondicionado era un poco más ruidoso de lo esperado, pero pude dormir hasta tarde. No tuve tiempo de usar las instalaciones (piscina y gimnasio).»

«Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were a bit small but cozy. Great pet room with a sliding door right out to a fenced grassy area. Was quiet even being right on 16th Ave. Pool was nice but a hot tub would be better 🤣 breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay again.»

«Great service. I called ahead to request a late check-in because my flight was delayed, and they had someone at the desk when I finally got there. They also helped me get a new room key card when mine wasn’t working properly. The hotel is also in the heart of downtown and close to a C-Train station.»

«This is a hotel not too far from the airport, and they provide airport pick-up and drop-off service. It is certain that their staff are very active and enthusiastic, but we still accidentally hurt our feet because there are many hidden nails in the carpet. «Very good price compared to the others around the area. Amenities are good, they have a laundry room, a bar, and a restaurant for breakfast. Staff are super nice and helpful. The room is big, you can book 1 room for a family of 5 with 3 beds, which is great for mid way stop.»

«This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. Everything is at the highest level ! This time we got a room on the 4th floor, new carpeting, smart TV, piled mirrors in the bathroom! Wow! The mattresses and bedding are perfect! And the pool with slides for the child - that's what you need!»

UUsuario invitadoThe landlords ( husband & wife) are very friendly, helpful, nice & accommodating. The wife Ms Shujie Guo waited for us patiently to arrive at the air bnb before returning to their own home which is a short distance away. (NB: we did not get the message or e-mail for the main door number access code & she know that it has happened before. So she took the initiative to wait for us which we arrived at night at about 9 pm on that day). This air bnb house provided full cooking facilities including the ingredients & spices. The common area are very clean & tidy. The bedroom & bathroom are equally clean & tidy. There is a garden at the back of the house which is beautifully layout. The landlord lady Ms Jhujie Guo even went to the extent to alert my wife that there were northern lights & informed us to go to the open space to see. With our iPhone 14 pro max handphone, we managed to see the beautiful northern lights ( aurora). Unfortunately we were unable to capture the dancing lights as we do not have the camera stand. This is a bonus as we did not expect to see Northern lights in Calgary! We felt like we were living at our own home.
We would highly recommend those who are looking for accommodation in Calgary to stay at Brothers Li Homestay.

UUsuario anónimoI am a customer living in 407 on 9th of November in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area, an IHG Hotel.
. I am writing to complain the lady on the front desk. She treated me not respectful. When we checked in, I am asking if we have hot spring, she replied several what? And correct me “hot tub” such as I am lack of knowledge.
Later, I want to use Landry room and change dollars with them. They gave me several two dollars, and the washing machines only accept 1 dollars, which they should have known at first place. So I went back to the front desk to ask for 1 dollars again. And at that time. There is one guy lining in front of another front desk server. And the lady was answering the phone. So I naturally stood in front of her desk and waited for her. And I asked her to change 1 dollars for me since they didn’t know. And then she asked me” don’t u notice there is a line? You should wait after it.” So I was so embarrassed to find out I cut in line.
So if she is really mindful about me cutting in line, Why not telling me to wait after? Or just remind me in a more respectful way assuming I really don’t know there is a line? Either way will have same effect and I would be acknowledged in a not embarrassing way. And again, the washing machine only accept 1 dollar and they did not know, is their job dereliction.
I am very concerned how your service match up with your high level of fees.

El hotel se encuentra en una zona de 2 horas, donde el servicio de la puerta de atrás no puede encontrar nuestra reserva.
La reserva fue encontrada en el momento de la entrada de la ciudad.
Nos dejamos literalmente en nuestra habitación 2 minutos antes de que el agente de escritorio nos intentó pagar algo del bar de snack. No podía decirnos qué objeto habíamos “consumido” (no habíamos consumido nada - especialmente a esos precios!) y luego cuando se preguntó cómo podrían saber dentro de 2 minutos (de nosotros saliendo de nuestra habitación) que un artículo había sido consumido - se convirtieron en muy defensivo y no podían responder realmente a la pregunta de “¿Cómo sabes qué nos cuesta” y la respuesta fue “es para el informe al final del día - nadie dice que realmente tomó nada”. Except that’s exactly what the desk cleark said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”.

MMichelle BillingtonMe gustaba mi estancia en el Deerfoot Inn & Casino. Mi viaje fue para atrapar con mi hermana y atrapar nuestras vidas. La habitación de la reina deluxe era espaciosa y bienvenida. Encontré una pintura en la hoja superior cuando el capuchón de la tapa cayó. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy agradable. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no es muy agradable. Puedo sugerir que actualicen los muebles como he notado a otros invitados mayores que tienen el mismo problema.

UUsuario anónimoCheck in took a bit of a long time but the staff was very helpful. Highlight of this hotel is definitely the water park. The water slides are so much fun for the kids and even though there is no lifeguard, the pool is relatively safe for 7 years old and above taken into account the depth of the pool. Remember to bring your floats if your kiddos cannot swim independently yet

UUsuario invitadoThis motel is not Econo Lodge in & suites university. Which we stayed also, and was much better than this one (econo lodge motel village).
The room was small and the bathroom smelled unpleasant. The smell came from the shower curtain, which touches the bath tub water. When taking a shower, the water doesn't drain as fast so your feet end up soaking in that water along with the smelly fabric shower curtain. Also, the bath was weirdly higher than the ground so be very careful when getting in. During our stay, there were several bugs that found their way into our room during the night (Mosquitos, flies). The buzzing sound prevented us to sleep so we had to kill the bugs and go back to sleep each time. We also had problems with our room key, we had them replaced several times and you have to slide the card quite a few times before it unlocks. I think it's loose and you need to get the exact right angle, which is annoying when you have your hands full. I recommend the other econolodge situated behind this one. The staffs here are very friendly. For breakfast, they offered coffee, tea but without lids. There's bread and juice served in a solocup (but u can just use the coffee cup). There were muffins. If you have allergies, I suggest you to bring your own food. The price for this motel vs the other econolodge were the same. We try to avoid staying at the same place for our whole trip in case we don't like our room but we ended regretting not booking the other econolodge for our entire trip.
