Sonesta Inns Beach Resort - Candolim Beach

Husband & I stayed for 2 weeks Jan -Feb 2024 & had a great stay. We’d booked a suite through TUI & were given room 103 (ground floor) with a pool view. Our suite had a separate seating area with sofa, dining table & chairs & a corner unit which housed the fridge. The bedroom had a large comfortable bed, large wardrobe for plenty of storage & great air conditioning in both rooms. Bathroom had a shower within the bath (could be quite slippery so take care when getting in & out) & sometimes early in the morning the water was cold. Pool was lovely, loungers available with parasols for shade & the pool *** always available with clean towels. You could also order drinks & snacks around the pool. Follow the path through the back of the grounds past the breakfast area to get to the beach. We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis which was served outside in the spacious grounds. Breakfast was great, both cold & hot options available ***** with egg & dosa stations. We only had a couple of dinners in the hotel restaurant but thought these were great value for money & now have a new favourite curry (prawn balchao). Staff - every single member of staff here is a credit to the hotel & couldn’t do enough to help / give advice on local restaurants etc Would love to come back but we have also noticed that the pricing for January 2026 works out at just over £9,000 for 16 days & that’s on the hotel’s own website!

Just returned from our annual visit to Sonesta Inns. This is most definitely the highlight of the year. We spent three weeks being so well cared for by the staff, many of whom are now old friends. The rooms are spacious and airy and the setting is idyllic. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, however the food from room service was excellent. The proximity to the beach make either pool or beach an easy option. As soon as flights are confirmed, we will be booking for December 2025. Thanks to all at the Sonesta for making our stay so enjoyable.

We wondered where our transfer minibus was taking us as we went down a narrow dusty road. It then pulled up by this lovely hotel. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained. Our room was large, with a large balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom adequate, the shower superb. The large swimming pool is clean and well maintained, there never seemed a shortage of loungers. The men by the pool are quick to supply you with towels. We only had breakfast at the hotel. The freshly made dosa and omelettes are excellent. Nitya, the breakfast chef, was always cheerful and prepared excellent food. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the young lad who cleaned our room fitted in with our timings and was always helpful. The hotel is sat next to the beach with beach shacks offering sunbeds or shaded seating in return for buying a drink. It isn't ideally placed for the centre of Candolim or Calangute, but both are easily and cheaply reached by taxi or tuktuk.

We had been there for a conference it is very nice place very close to prime location of North Goa night life happening location and the advantage of the property is direct access to beach and very good Service team special thanks to Francis and Manager Nishit to make our conference successful they are always ready to do the needful during conference every time we need

We visited Goa and stayed at Sonesta for the first time, following a recommendation, to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday – and it was an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and caring. The resort was spotless and well maintained throughout our stay. The food was absolutely divine – I genuinely enjoyed every meal I had there. The chefs were truly outstanding and more than happy to cater to any special requests we had. A heartfelt thank you to Melita and the entire team for arranging a surprise cake and for making the whole experience so memorable and special. We also had great fun singing karaoke for the first time – an unexpected highlight! I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to friends and family, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. Ketan & Kirti.

Wonderful stay, very clean and spacious rooms. The pool is also well maintained. The staff is really warm and helpful. Special mention to Nitish and Devanand, they made our breakfast time real easy and wholesome. It’s a great place to stay in north Goa, also has beach access within the property
