Moon Light Hotel Cairo Dar El Eshara

The hotel is conveniently situated from the airport and the City stars mall is walking distance. Stayed at Moonlight dar Al Eshara while attending a conference at another nearby hotel. The hotel mainly caters to the local population. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. House keeping makes up the room every day and two bottles of water are provided gratis. They do use a strong disinfectant spray so it is a good idea to air out the room once it has been cleaned. Laundry service is available and prompt. Breakfast was not exciting although you can get eggs made to order. You can get a black coffee at breakfast albeit instant- coffee provided in the rooms is 3 in 1 Nescafé sachet. The hotel can be noisy as there is a wedding venue but our room was quiet and we were not disturbed. WiFi is free but getting an Egyptian SIM card is recommended for your stay in Egypt especially if you are visiting more places. This can be done conveniently from the shop just outside the gate. Two of the employees Radwa and Saif were extremely helpful and professional. They were charming, respectful and did their best to help us. They helped us plan a day trip in Cairo - Mr Saif wrote down names of places in Arabic so that we could show it to the Uber driver: we went to see Darb 17/18, the Hanging church, the Cairo museum at Tahrir square and the Cairo tower. Helpful suggestion to eat local food was also given. Ms Radwa kindly helped us with our room booking and assisted us in exchanging money. Both of them were very friendly and have a good understanding of English which helped us a lot. All our requests were attended to promptly and efficiently. There is a gym and swimming pool but we did not use either. The check out process was smooth and front desk helped move our luggage to the main gate. The service for the price is very good and we had a relaxed and comfortable stay.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks. location is perfect and the rooms are big. However, the room is a bit smelly, housekeeping washes coffee mugs in the toilets, and coffee, and tea don't get refilled every day. I was in room 132 next to the wedding venue which means very loud music up to 12 am makes it impossible to stay in the room while the wedding is on. I had to stay outside until the wedding was over. Breakfast is testless. I will definitely not recommend it to anyone especially if you looking for a clean and relaxing hotel.

Horrible! Pour le prix c'est une honte ! L'accueil est médiocre. Chek in à 23 heures et la chambre n'est pas prête. Réservation pour 4 personnes, la chambre comprend 2 lits et un canapé pour une seule personne..car il est cassé... La personne jette une couverture sur le canapé et c'est tout...sans draps ... On a dû se serrer pour dormir. Le petit déjeuner est une blague ! C'est une boîte en carton (sale ) aves des mauvais produits industriels dedans ! Pas de salle pour prendre Le petit déjeuner comme dans tous les autres hôtels attention, les boîtes petit déjeuner restent tout la nuit sur le comptoir de l'accueil avec des yaourts dedans ! Un cauchemar Le seul sourire c'est la dame de ménage et la chambre est propre.

Peccato, perché questo hotel ha un alto potenziale ma si perde nelle piccole cose. Le camere sono belle, spaziose e pulite. I 4 cuscini sul letto matrimoniale sono però altissimi, sembra di dormire seduti e viene mal di collo. Sono praticamente tutti uguali, quindi non c’è possibilità di scelta. La sera la musica è altissima. Noi volevamo dormire presto perché avevamo il volo al mattino prestissimo, ma non è stato semplice con la musica così. In reception sono poco disponibili e poco sorridenti, parlano tra di loro e a mala pena ti rispondono. Insomma, davvero delle cavolate, l’hotel è un buon hotel, ma c’è un grosso margine di miglioramento che sta nelle piccole cose. Se cercate un hotel per una notte può andare bene, per un soggiorno più lungo non lo consiglieremmo.

Les chambres sont très bien et propre mais tout les activités sont payante et pas un seul membres du personnel parle une autre langue que l’Égyptien mis appart les chambres le reste ma dessus la piscine est infestée de monde
