Really enjoyed my stay at this hostel, it was very quiet and cosy. Nice kitchen with free breakfast. Did not expect to have much options, but they had pancakes, cereals and toast. The bathrooms very clean! And the staff was very helpful.

Such a great experience to stay at this hostel! The location of the hostel couldn't be better, lots of bars and restaurants, supermarket and the city pool is just around the corner. The rooms are nice with an air-condition and the whole hostel is really clean. The kitchen is amazing, they've a TV in there as well which I really liked. I slept really well at this hostel and I met amazing people. They also have a small outside area with a bbq which was great to meet people. Can highly recommend to book this hostel and will definitely be back!

It was the first hostel that I’ve stayed at that I felt relaxed and chilled, everyone here is friendly, the staff are efficient and helpful. The rooms are well looked after and the kitchen and bathroom rooms are clean. Everyone is like a little family I highly recommend booking here l.

I had the best stay at Mad Monkeys Waterfront. The room was always really clean and the free breakfast was a bonus! I would really recommend this hostel if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Cairns, as its right on the Esplanade and opposite the lagoon, and its a great place to meet other backpackers. Plus, the staff are super friendly!

Mad Monkey Waterfront is a wonderfully welcoming hostel that offers a warm and cozy atmosphere. The location is excellent, with close proximity to all the attractions in Cairns City, and the staff is also incredibly lovely. The free breakfast was a nice detail that I really enjoyed, specially the pancakes. If you're looking for a low-key stay while still having opportunities to socialize and make new friends, this hostel is a very good option. And yes, you do get to sleep very well cause it’s very quiet at night!! I'm already planning on returning in the future!

Excellent Hostel! I really enjoyed staying at Mad Monkey Waterfront. The Bathrooms are clean, it’s small but very social and the staff is really friendly. Can definitely recommend booking a bed there!

Amazing experience in this hostel. The location is perfect and the place is very clean. The staff were really nice and helpful too. The common areas were so comfortable so easy to chill and relax there. I would deifnitely recommend it, 100% worth it!

One of my favorite hostels so far! Such a nice atmosphere and met so many cool people there. The hostel was also kept very clean and staff was super friendly. I also really enjoyed the free gym access that they offered. Would definitely come back!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel is clean and cozy. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is really good. Right beside the lagoon and in the city centre. Can definitely recommend this hostel!
