Solo stay to visit family in Wales.. I arrived late.. did not have a booking and my phone had died.. Sarah on reception not only helped with booking she had a spare charger I could borrow. Nothing is too much trouble. Corridors smelt fresh and room was clean and basic. Pub next door lovely food but also a supermarket across from hotel and other local shops a walk away. I would definitely use this travelodge again.

Very clean room and bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful chatty and supportive. Rooms suitable for the purpose of our stay Hotel was in a great location close to town centres and attractions. Nearby link roads. Had the best sleep ever.

My partner and I went to see oasis in Cardiff on Friday. We love staying at Caerphilly as it's a home from home with lovely staff and I can see that they have had a refit. Wow the difference is amazing. Lovely colours, new mattress. I was greeted my ayelen when we arrived and Irene was on overnight. Very peaceful nights sleep well done to the team look forward to coming back ☺️

Really poor service & lots of noise of a night. Went to the room we were given & the room hadn’t even been cleaned from where the previous guests had been. Not enough towels in the room. Reception staff very unhelpful

Great friendly welcome. Room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We especially liked that top up drink facilities were freely available. Good location for our stay, we would definitely recommend.

This Travelodge from the moment you walk into reception is without doubt the best we have had the pleasure in staying at. The welcome was genuine and polite, very helpful too. The room was the cleanest and best stocked, even the cleaner politely asked if there was anything she could do after say hello.the room was spotless and quiet. Perfect atmosphere to relax. Well done team, we will be happy to tell our family and friends to stay with you. Thanks Mark & Diana

Waited in the lobby for 15 minutes to check in as no bell or other means to tell staff members that someone is in reception. Being disabled I was able to park right outside the entrance. I was given a 2nd floor room but, on seeing my walking stick, I was found a ground floor room. Clean, bright and quite large room, shining bathroom. Ample parking and handy for Lidls supermarket.
