We had a lovely nights stay in Hawthorn Farm Guest House and glad we chose here as the place to stay while visiting Buxton. Friendly from the moment we arrived and even though we were earlier than the 3pm check in time our room was ready for us and we could settle in before heading into Buxton. We had a room in the main house and it had all we needed for a nights stay The breakfast was very good and made to order so was fresh and tasty If we are in the Buxton area again this would definitely be somewhere I would consider staying at again

This hotel is impressive but somewhat elusive hidden in the valley of Buxton town. Centre. It is a lovely Spa hotel with five star service through out the hotel. Our room on the fourth floor was nice but watch your heads walking around the bed. The room has a safe and sound shower head which are pluses for us. But, the bed is a tad small! The tv is smaller than other hotels, for the side of the wall space, it ought to be bigger is better. The spa four pools are great and warm. We didn't try the thermal pool because it was very busy. The fifth pool! The sauna, aroma and steam rooms were great and plenty of them. The salt room was excellent and peaceful. There were Spa room treatment but we were not that organised. The gym and fitness room may be nice but we did not have time to nose around. There were plenty to do around the hotel and the arcade and high street were just a minute away! This hotel is excellent in its location with the park next to it. Private parking is £30 pn and concierge would park and fetch the car for you. But, you can try to find street parking cheaper. We had dinner in the bar which was great but last order is at 9pm. This is reasonable compare to the restaurant menu. We slept well despite the torrential downpours last night. The room was well insulated and we did not hear the next room or outside noises. It was exceptional to have peaceful sleep!! Breakfast was continental and freshly cooked to order. Our coffee was serve as soon as we sat down. Service was excellent for this hotel. Nothing to fault at all! 👏

Very wonderful hotel staff. Clean and newly renovated rooms that were very comfortable to stay in. All in all a great stay and will definitely be staying here again if we return.

This place is like the ritz. It has to be the best place in Buxton to take your bird for a luxury night wothot kids. I was chatting to the guy behind the bar while I was waited for my woman to get herself ready and he was telling me how the staff are partying all night and the managers don’t care and they join in. Wot a place this would be to work it’s so nice and clean inside and the bed was the best to treat my woman to on aniversary session. And she isn’t the smallest of girls but she is my one and only babe so I want to say thanks for the most enjoyable night we have had in a long time. We don’t get to do this often with kids but we had a gift voucher we won on a raffle. Just want to say big thankyou and your staff in the bar are top
