Went for a weekend getaway. Asked for a room on the ground floor as I have issues with stairs, they were very helpful and we were in one of the stable block rooms. The room was lovely, albeit a little compact. The staff were excellent and helpful at all times, and due to my walking issues, they carried my bag to my room. We had dinner on two days of our stay and breakfast, including a taster menu and a Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and of high quality. Staff were attentive and very helpful. I would highly recommend this as somewhere for a celebration, as the atmosphere so relaxed. I can imagine this is a lovely place in the summer with the pool and sitting in the gardens to enjoy a drink and watch world go by. Also, I would also imagine as a wonderful venue for a wedding. I would highly recommend and we will be back. :)

The Ravenwood has an excellent Reputation and we were very eager to make a booking. This was easily arranged online and our booking met our requirements. My friend is Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Soya Free. Everything but the Yorkshire Puddings were Gluten Free and the Gravy was delicious. Usually, the Menu is very limited. The Food was Great, the Service First Class and the Dining Atmosphere Splendid. Our friends are eager to join us on a future occasion.

Came to hotel for a celebration. Hotel bar closed at 10pm even to residents so celebrations were cut short. Barman was very abrupt bordering on rude. The rest of the staff were great. The web site stated that our room had bathrobes. Despite asking for them at reception we were told they were not available in the hotel. Our room had been refurbished but the curtains were too small for the frame. As our window had a floodlight shining on it all night our room was very bright all night.

Just had 2 nights at Ravenwood Hall Hotel while working away on business. Great place, good breakfast, clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Sammy was great and really looked after us during our stay, advised us on the area and happy to answer any questions we had and just really friendly :-) thank you !

I have just spent two weeks in the Ravenwood Hall hotel, using it as a base to carry out work onsite and I must say it's in a great location just off the A14 for easy access to the area. The hotel it's self is draped in history and is fantastic inside including the rooms which are kitted out with everything you need bath, shower coffee etc. etc. I would say that the food here is fantastic especially steak night on a Thursday night, my steak was cooked to perfection. But lastly it's the staff who work here that really sets this place off especially Sammy, Sean and Daisy. I hope to come back here in the future as I really enjoyed my stay here. Jeff from Indigo.

We attended a function here last night and we were very impressed. We came to a dinner dance with the fabulous Ricky Hanley. We had a drink in the bar area first, which was warm and cozy with a real fire. The function itself was held in a lovely intimate room, but with plenty of room for dancing. The food was tasty and the staff all very polite. We would definitely return in the future.

We had a Fabulous meal in the private room last month. Really tasty 3 course meal with great wines chosen for us. Staff were exceptional throughout. Gorgeous setting just outside Bury. The bedroom renovation is apparently well underway, so maybe a visit with a stop over is next

Lovely quiet hotel Is currently undergoing major refurb, which looks amazing! The new bar area has had a much needed spruce up and our bedroom had also been completely overhauled. The changes are a positive! Thank you to Samy, who on every visit is always attentive and friendly. Keeping the front of house running smoothly. Please do visit here to see what they have done with the place. Future plans sound exciting too!

It’s not often I leave reviews but credit where credit’s due ! My wife and I along with a large group of friends had dinner at this recently improved hotel and I have to say that everything was perfect! We were greeted on arrival by very welcoming staff who really went above and beyond all evening . Our meal was first rate and the surroundings and decor was outstanding ,we particularly liked the log fires and laid back atmosphere. We were told that the hotel is currently being refurbished and big things are planned , we look forward to returning in the very near future !
