Selwyn Cottage was a delight to stay at. Located near the edge of the National Park, the cottage balcony overlooks a beautiful garden with views of Norfolk Pines across the valley. The cottage is very cosy with everything we needed and most importantly for us, the bed was extremely comfortable. However the very best thing about our stay at Selwyn was meeting hosts Tim and Laura. They are so hospitable, warm and engaging and in the lead up to our holiday, were so responsive in communications with us. The Island itself is beautiful, with magnificent quiet beaches, pristine forest walks and a chilled atmosphere that made us both instantly relax. Cows roaming the streets mowing the grass was a daily highlight. We hope to return to Norfolk and if we do, we'll be sure to stay again at Tim and Laura's little piece of paradise. Rick and Mandy.

Tim picked us up from the airport and explained the facilities in town on the way to the cottage. The cottage was a delight, everything you would need.Peace and tranquility and so close to town - how wonderful is that! The gardens, birds and National Park were a delight to look out onto. The breakfast provisions were very generous which gave me one less thing to think about. The hire car included made everything so easy. Tim's kindness and knowledge of where to find birds was a godsend. Had a great time. Would highly recommend this property.

Selwyn Cottage is comfortable well-appointed well located and very private. We enjoyed our holiday in Norfolk Island due to Tim's kindness and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. It was great to be able to use onsite laundry facilities, watch our regular TV programs and sporting events albeit an hour later and relax on the deck The car was housed in the garage next to the house and Tim picked us up at the airport and explained what was where in the town on our journey to the cottage The gardens were lovely and so was the cottage. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast provisions for first morning lasted a few days. We would definitely recommend Selwyn Cottage as a good value for money venue with friendly helpful owners. Tim and Laura have put together a very comfortable homely cottage. The one bedroom cottage has everything you will need for a fantastic stay. You are supplied in the kitchen with all your cooking utensils and crockery. A large fridge, a excellent microwave and plenty of preparation room if you require it. The cottage has more than ample space and the bathroom is excellent with natural local pine. Washing machine and dryer are provided. Everything and I say everything right down to walking poles are there. Must mention the back veranda which has a Weber BBQ where you can enjoy a great sunny private aspect overlooking the back garden. The goodies provided for breakfast were quality and the bottle of wine enjoyed. Car and a complimentary voucher were also provided. The location is perfect to the National Park and town.
