Rooms were okay but service and staff was bad. The WiFi was down and no one alerted us until we mentioned it, after that, no time frame was given. We had no WiFi until Monday night which we only discovered when our phones finally connected. This was a big problem due to the fact that we had no signal either and couldn’t even use our phones to communicate with anyone. We booked for the meal deal with breakfast in the morning and the staff were rude when we walked in because they had overbooked and didn’t have space. We had young kids and they were prepared to turn us away knowing we had paid for breakfast. The breakfast wasn’t fully available and the continental was non existent. The food was not replenished in a timely manner and plate availability was also minimal. Therefore it was 20 minutes before being able to actually have a cooked breakfast and the queue for food was large because everyone was in the same position. The staff working that morning were very rude and then proceeded to walk around with a bad attitude whilst we were still there having breakfast which made for a bad atmosphere and unwelcome environment. We had no desire to go back after that and for what it costs - the food was not worth it.

Don’t expect a hot tasty breakfast. The restaurant is under redevelopment but still charging guests for either a Continental or cooked breakfast. We were advised that there would be reduced dining capacity, but not that the restaurant would be closed completely between breakfast and dinner. After a six hour drive we were unable to get a cup of coffee there or access our room before 3.00pm. What a sad display of poor quality eggs, sausages and beans at breakfast the following morning. Rock hard hash browns and no black pudding, as had been advertised. There is better food available elsewhere for £10.99 per head.

Booked in for 1 night on Christmas Day after a family meal at The Palazzo. Regularly use Premier Inn and find them good value for money. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, not the newest, but comfy bed, decent shower and the WiFi was fine. Plenty of parking, just remember to log your car registration on the screen at reception. Breakfast was ok, slight wait for the egg and bacon, but I was in no hurry. I left my car there late morning and used the Ride app to book taxis which is like Uber. It worked well and is reasonably priced. Overall, I would stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed at the premier inn in Burnley lots of times but this was a shocker to say the least . On the Thursday we went over to have a drink like a ghost town nobody in . Was advised at 930 we were advised that last orders were 945 . 945 arrived and it was like the staff in the bar were doing me a massive favour by serving me . Then at 955 we were told to drink up as they wanted to lock up . Next morning I went for breakfast . Everything on the Luke warm hot plate was lukewarm warm absolutely disgusting rubber eggs lukewarm warm beans cold bacon and Luke warm sausage. How the hell anyone can run a restaurant like this is beyond me . We won’t be staying in the premier inn ever again . On the plus side the staff in the hotel we’re pretty good but the restaurant is an absolute shocker t the worst breakfast I have ever had and I would not throw it at a burglar

Had a few small issues but Simon was amazing and fixed everything for me, he is an absolute credit to the company, and his customer service skills are impeccable. Ideal location if your looking for the football at turf Moor it's within walking distance

This was a most comfortable stay. It had all the usual great standard I expect from Premier Inn but the staff there just went that extra mile for their guests. The Duty Manager Claire was welcoming friendly and after arriving late due to weather conditions, gave me the great advice about asking the girls in the restaurant to plate up for me so I could eat in the comfort of my room after such a long day. She also gave me some great tips on places to visit, which I followed and it made for a memorable stay. The girls in the restaurant were amazing too, my order came swiftly on that first night, which I was truly grateful for 😊

Hotel location just on the outskirts keeps it nice and quiet, staff helpful and cheerful which makes all the difference after a day’s travelling. Shout out for Morgan in the restaurant especially, seemed to be doing the job of 3 but still with a smile!

Very disappointed with the Premier Inn. We have stayed at the Burnley hotel many times over the last number of years and always loved our stay. Unfortunately things have went downhill fast. Firstly, staff are still excellent and friendly, that is about the only positive I have. Rooms seemed sparse, they seem to have removed some furniture. WiFi was non existent and mobile data has always been poor in the area. The biggest issue is that Premier Inn have taken over the running of the Queen Victoria Brewer's Fayre and it is now only open to residents. Breakfast was particularly poor, some items were on the Buffet but others you had to ask to be cooked for you. The eggs were like rubber. It used to be bustling but now hardly anyone was eating there. We had dinner on the first night as we arrived quite late only to be seated in a dark corner of the restaurant as most of it was closed off. Staff said the restaurant is being turned into more rooms. The hotel itself was supposed to be fully booked but there didn't seem to be anyone around, car park was much quieter than it would have been. For us, after staying here so often, it will now be our last ever stay.

The two positive aspects of my stay at the Premier Inn in Burnley were the helpfulness of the reception staff, particularly the Asian gentleman who assisted me on the morning of 14th October 2024, and the comfort of the bed and pillows. The aforementioned staff member demonstrated exceptional customer service by promptly addressing my request for a banana due to my diabetic condition. Despite these positive aspects, the overall condition of the room was unsatisfactory. The sofa bed appeared to be in poor condition, necessitating the use of a sheet to cover it before placing any items on it due to visible dirt and stains. There were more negative aspects than positive ones. The hotel itself was in a state of disrepair. It was quite dated and unclean. The carpet was stained and dirty to the point where it was unpleasant to walk on. It wasn't just a matter of not vacuuming; the dirt was embedded in the carpet. The furniture was old, worn, and appeared unclean as well. The bathroom was extremely basic, with only hand soap and shower gel provided. There were no extras like moisturizer or a shower cap. Finally, the WiFi was so poor that neither my daughter nor I could get a signal on our phones to do anything. I had to go outside to the parking lot just to make a phone call, which was quite inconvenient and concerning, especially in the dark. Unless the hotel undergoes a complete renovation and refurbishment, I will not be returning and would not recommend it to anyone. However, if these issues do not bother you, then it may be a suitable option.
