Travelodge Burford Cotswolds Hotel

Pleasantly surprised how quiet and comfortable our rooms were. We had a rear facing room and my sister a front facing. All rooms have been modernized. Despite the proximity to a large traffic circle noise was minimal. There is new, comfortable seating. Note: No elevator to upper floor. The location provides for a pleasant walk down into the village. There is a coffee shop next door and a pub across the street. Manager Wendy was very helpful. While breakfast is not served their grab and go breakfast was more than adequate.

Welcomed by Gurdeep who couldn’t have been more helpful. Even asked which part of the hotel we’d prefer which we really appreciated. We were checked out by Cheryl who was so friendly while also being professional. It was so nice to have 2 really good interactions with lovely staff members. This place was ideal for a budget stay, clean, comfortable and quiet with friendly staff. Two plugs, a TV and clean en-suite. Bottle-opener attached to the table in case you forget to bring one! Well located for the A40 and close to Burford town. Good quality, no-frills. They do, however, charge if you want more than 30 mins wi-fi access.

Stayed in a few travelodges but i would put this up there with one of the best ive stayed in over the years

Very easy to find, location was ideal. Check in was quick and easy. My mum was offered a ground floor room given her age and mobility. Room was clean and comfy, WI-FI was very weak but it is what it is. On check out the next morning we were greeted by a lovely lady called Cheryl, who was a font of knowledge regarding the local area and villages and places to see. She was a breath of fresh air.

I stayed here for work the staff especially Cheryl are very welcoming and friendly the room was clean overall very pleased with the experience I have stayed here before and I would definitely stay again the bed was very comfortable room was very relaxing overall pleasant experience
