The hotel exterior is historical but the interior is very spacious modern well equipped like an apartment. I stayed 3 nights here and enjoy so much. Location is central near old town. Metro station is around 7 mins away on foot. The breakfast is very tasty. Price great.
But there's street noise when opening the door of the balcony.

Hotel cómodo, con habitaciones grandes y bien céntrico. El desayuno, completo. Lo recomendaría para todo viajero con parada en Bucarest. Sin duda, fue nuestra mejor elección. Muy agradecidos, también, con la buena gestión del transfer del aeropuerto al hotel.

We booked a deluxe suite here for three nights in early December and it's ridiculous the value for money you can get in Eastern Europe, we paid just over £120 a night for a stay you'd easily pay 2 or 3 times as much in western europe. The suite itself was excellent, the kitchen although not used other than making drinks was well equipped. A comfortable dining and sitting room area with enough to seat four people. A queen sized bed in the bedroom and a clean and well maintained bathroom make for a great apartment all round. The breakfast offered enough variety that we had the option of something a bit different every morning if we wanted it. I can't praise this hotel enough, we had a great break and the hotel and its staff were a big part of it.

The location of Cismigiue is in the center of Bucharest but few minutes away from the Old Town center which is a perfect and quiet location, only 5-8 minutes walk to the center of the Old Town and nearby you can find lots of restaurants and interesting things to see. The staff are really nice and helpful, the reception, housekeeping and breakfast service were all great, too bad that housekeeping is working only during the morning and noon as you can't change your towels during the evening if required. WiFi is free and fast and stable enough, TV has also enough channels in different languages to choose from. Room is very spacious and well equipped, the kitchen has everything if you want to cook for yourself and the rooms are like suites in other hotels. Aircon was working nice and the water pressure in the shower was also nice and as this is a "green" hotel you can clearly see they try to do what they can sustainability wise. Bed can be more comfortable but good enough. Breakfast was modest but good enough. Value for money is excellent for this hotel, no ******, quiet but also near everything by a walking distance, rooms are great, to sum it up, definitely worth the stay!

I can’t really fault this hotel. The location is great, just down from University Square and over the road from the Old Town. The room was clean and very spacious. It had a separate living/dining area with TV. Perfect if you just fancied ending your evening feet up with a beer. The breakfast was most satisfactory (albeit I steered clear of the sausages!) The staff were friendly and accommodating. The first night the guy on the desk was really helpful showing where places were etc (although one member of staff another night was a bit funny when my wife asked for decaf - I don’t think it’s a Romanian thing). Overall, a great hotel, clean, tidy, good breakfast, lovely big rooms, friendly and helpful staff. I’d go here again.

Fabulous room/suite which was so comfy. But the QR Code room service didn't work – I ordered at 6pm, nothing had arrived by 8pm – no phones being answered in either reception or the restaurant. I went down to reception who were not interested and directed me next door to the restaurant who claimed they had never received the order despite me receiving an ack email. The food was great when it eventually arrived 3 hours late! Return visit 2 days later was to a similar suite with a different layout – would happily have stayed here longer!

We spent 3 nights at Cismigiu early October 2024. The property is strategically located in the center of Bucharest and very convenient for sightseeing and restaurants. It is hosted in a beautiful art nouveau building which was well refurbished with modern clean style, while retaining the exterior charm of the period. Rooms, or better suites, are very comfortable and large with all the facilities you would expect, from a coffee machine, to bathrobes, etc. Breakfast is served in the nice and very pink, brasserie on the top floor. It offers a good variety of items both savoury and sweet with some changes every day, which is a nice touch. Staff are very professional, friendly and welcoming. Some areas to improve the experience could be the addition of a kettle with teas in the room, water offered on a daily basis, but in all Cismigiu is certainly a great value for money option to visit Bucharest, which was a really nice surprise to discover with its history and contrasts!

Fantastic rooms and central to just about everything. Seperate bedroom, lounge and kitchen bar with full dining table. Room was on the inside so not a lot of noise to be heard - would throughly recommend for a stay in Bucharest on business or pleasure
