Lovely quaint French B&B in the heart of Brixham. Lovely clean room with stunning views over Brixham harbour. Excellent French breakfast with a good selection of foods to choose from. Hosts/owners were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable on the local area. Really lovely stay. Thank you.

Our second visit to this excellent b and b. It is in a fantastic position overlooking Brixham and the views are amazing. A short walk down steps and road takes you to the town, the walk back up includes steps but most places in Brixham do and the walk is staggered so not straight up! The breakfasts cooked by Herve are fantastic, the best Eggs Benedict I have ever read had anywhere! The breakfast menu has lots of choices all cooked fresh and everything on there was really, really good. Herve and Nathalie are very welcoming hosts and recommended places to visit and where to eat. We enjoyed our chats with them. The B and B is lovely, clean, parking space, welcoming and comfortable. We stayed in the top room Bay View with a great balcony to enjoy a coffee or drink on over looking the bay. We will no doubt be returning to stay as we really enjoyed our visit yet again!

Where to start, so much to say. Herve and Nathalie are the absolute perfect hosts and owners of this fabulous gem. It's everything and more and to call it a B&B understates what this property offers. It is in a perfect position with every one of the three rooms overlooking the harbour. We stayed in the Beacon Room which was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable.The property has secure private parking which in Brixham is unique, a two tiered terrace which we luckily able to enjoy due to the warm weather for breakfast on our three night stay. As for the breakfast, this is where Herve and Nathalie really excel, it was truly one of the best we have ever had and would put it in the Michelin star class. Herve & Nathalie your are wonderful people and we look forward to seeing you next year.

We've stayed here before covid,we are back now. The breakfast menu is wide and varied,tasty too.the owners are experienced in hospitality and it shows.recommend anyone to stay here,3 rooms only,but all overlook the harbour and have balconies. Paul and Sue.

Well, what can I say, from the moment we phoned up and made an enquiry to the moment of leaving we felt that we had known Herve & Nathalie for years, you cannot get more hospitable hosts. We stayed in the harbour view room, and it was perfect, comfortable mattress and bedding, lovely views from the balcony. Then we come to the breakfast, again words fail me, absolutely delicious, try the Franglais full breakfast, a new twist on a full English. Looking forward to future visits, thank you Herve and Nathalie.

Hervè and Natalie are wonderfully delightful people and the best B&B hosts we've stayed with during our travels. I'm a foodie and was THORUGLY impressed as always with the full "Franglish" (french and English) breakfast in addition to beautiful, classic French pastries, well-rounded tea and an endless wealth of knowledge and (invited) conversation about the area. In addition to the food, the room we stayed in was well stocked with towels, soft linens and very comfortable beds (perfect after a night exploring the town), along with spectacular views from our included private balcony (!!)

We received a very warm welcome from Nathalie who presented us each with a glass of chilled Devon cider, which was much appreciated. Our en-suite rooms, both with wonderful views of the harbour, a small balcony, big enough to accommodate table and chairs, were very comfortable indeed - in fact we are now considering buying the same brand of bed mattress. What really sets this delightful B&B apart, is not just the location with its panoramic vista, available parking, also, the delicious choice of breakfast dishes ie porridge with orange compote and elderflower syrup topped with a strawberry; ambrosial. The history of the house and its once importance to the fishing industry is very interesting too. Would we stay at Beacon House again - yes. Thank you to our delightful hosts Hervé and Nathalie.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Brixham at Beacon house. The breakfasts are amazing ! There is no better place to stay if you want a warm welcome, comfy beds and good food. And the sun was shining ! I will definitely be back. Thank you both. Valerie

I stayed in the Bay View room. View is spectacular, the room is well decorated and very comfy. Hervé and Nathalie are lovely hosts, always happy to chat. Their breakfasts are well presented, very tasty and a great start to the day. I've added their details to my list of preferred B&Bs and will certainly visit again. Thank you both.
