Wonderful relaxing stay, went for a short 2 night break with my cousin to enjoy some girls time, shopping. Sam was a fabulous host. Nothing too much trouble. Country views from our twin room were really serene and peaceful, sheep grazing right outside in the courtyard that was available for guests use. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly served. The room for extremely quiet, which was our number one requirement when looking for a place to stay as we were fed up with noisy hotels in the past. we went into Stamford which was lovely with a good selection of shops. Hopefully we will return soon

My wife and I have stayed at Swallows Rest twice. Both times have been very comfortable and relaxing. Sam is a wonderful host and very attentive towards her guests. Brigstock is a beautiful village and a delight to walk around. Looking forward to our next stay.

Amazing beautiful part of the UK in the doomsday book, as many have said Sam is a beautiful host and anything you want is never to much trouble The parking and accommodation is on point, entering is like a page of Laura Ashley I ended up having a bath whilst floating about in the depth of it Breakfast was amazing fruit berries and eggs done perfectly They also had Bamboo chopsticks for the Chinese takeaway I ordered, I mean who has that! 5* and I stay in many places all week this was a treat

Excellent accommodation, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Arrived to a warm welcome from the owner, who could no have been more helpful in recommending places to eat, booking of taxi's and local take away establishments. Honesty fridge and supplied home made cookies a surprising but and welcoming touch. Home made breakfast of an excellent standard; owners went out their wat to help and accommodate. Highly recommended and located in a lovely part of the country.

What can I say….there isn’t anything that could have been added to make our one night stay more enjoyable, perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect room, perfect breakfast. We shall definitely return when in the area again. 5 star all the way! Huge thanks.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions. It is a fabulous place, smart, clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Sam (host) is friendly and extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Good breakfast. On site parking. Highly recommend.

We needed to break our journey and wanted to visit Boughton House that is nearby. Swallows Rest came up in our search and proved to be an excellent venue for our overnight stop. Sam was helpful in every respect meeting a couple of requests instantly. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A good nights sleep rounded off with a very good breakfast where a good choice of options was well received. The setting in a lovely village lived up to the hidden gem description of Northamptonshire.

Absolutely a gem of a place. If heaven is in B&B then this place is heaven. The owner Sam should be so proud of what she has achieved and she can’t do enough for you. The gardens outside are so well maintained and next door is a vineyard. So yes I bought a bottle.

Swallows Rest is absolutely beautiful. I had the most idyllic stay.. once again. The view from my bedroom was amazing … just what I needed. The breakfast I ordered was absolutely gorgeous. Fresh, tasty and it was made from extremely good quality ingredients. The bed and bedding was luxurious, perfect for a deep, relaxing sleep. The added extras just made my stay so much more welcoming. This wasn’t my first stay and it certainly won’t be my last ! Thank you to Sam and Nicky for the warmest welcome. Nothing at all was too much trouble for either of them ! Meeting Willow just added to the most friendly, relaxing stay I could imagine !
