Wonderful relaxing stay, went for a short 2 night break with my cousin to enjoy some girls time, shopping. Sam was a fabulous host. Nothing too much trouble. Country views from our twin room were really serene and peaceful, sheep grazing right outside in the courtyard that was available for guests use. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly served. The room for extremely quiet, which was our number one requirement when looking for a place to stay as we were fed up with noisy hotels in the past. we went into Stamford which was lovely with a good selection of shops. Hopefully we will return soon

My wife and I have stayed at Swallows Rest twice. Both times have been very comfortable and relaxing. Sam is a wonderful host and very attentive towards her guests. Brigstock is a beautiful village and a delight to walk around. Looking forward to our next stay.

Amazing beautiful part of the UK in the doomsday book, as many have said Sam is a beautiful host and anything you want is never to much trouble The parking and accommodation is on point, entering is like a page of Laura Ashley I ended up having a bath whilst floating about in the depth of it Breakfast was amazing fruit berries and eggs done perfectly They also had Bamboo chopsticks for the Chinese takeaway I ordered, I mean who has that! 5* and I stay in many places all week this was a treat

We stopped over here one night on our way to Hopton on Sea in Norfolk, absolutely excellent host and fantastic b n b, lovely quiet area with a nice garden with fields at the rear of the property, off road parking, honesty bar and tv with Netflix, clean throughout,happy days.

This is 2nd time that we have visited this lovely venue and hope that their will be many more.. Excellent room, venue and host. The food was excellent. Very quite surroundings overlooking fields.

What an amazing stay! Absolutely gorgeous, spotless and Sam was so friendly throughout. Breakfast was delightful, freshly made including homemade bread and cookies. Honestly couldn’t have asked for more, can’t wait to come back!! :) x

Wonderful bed & breakfast set in a sweet rural location. The host Sam could not have been more helpful, even reserving a table at a local restaurant for us. The rooms were beautifully decorated with little homely touches for fresh baked cookie and fresh milk and chilled water for refreshments. An honest fridge was also available. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, served to suit your schedule. Immaculately clean and welcoming, I would highly recommend this fabulous place for those looking for accommodation in the area. Thank you Sam ☺️
