Feuerstein Nature Family Resort

We loved the Feuerstein! Booked it as a bit of a splurge weekend with my family (two children ages 2.5 and 15 months) for Easter and my birthday for four nights. We checked out nearly every amenity the hotel had to offer because it was just so fun to explore there. We had a ton of rain but could still enjoy the location and time because of all the activities organized by the hotel. I can only confirm that it looks just like the photos. Everything is connected underground. You can see and schedule all activities in their mobile web app. If something is full just go anyway and see because a lot of people were no shows. The resort was fully booked but never felt too full or busy. I assume this due to the expansiveness of the resort versus number of guests. I also loved having our designated breakfast table and dinner table (lunch was open seating) and the same waitress each night. We ended up eating starters with the kids, putting them to bed, and coming back to enjoy the rest of the 5-course menu - Deborah was open to accommodating whatever situation we needed. There were just so many cool details like the family restrooms with kids toilets, the low hand rails for littles, the outlet covers in the rooms, just all these aspects that highlighted this place keeps families at the forefront of their minds. The only „complaints“ I have are that there was no conditioner provided in the shower. I know this is common in Europe, but still felt like it fell short for a 5 star resort. The second was the default provided pillows were so flat - can’t imagine anyone likes these? But they did have a pillow menu with other options, which we used on the remaining nights. I only wish there were more hotels at this standard of offering luxury to the adults and children.

Our stay at Feuerstein Nature Family Resort was absolutely amazing! As a family with little ones aged 3 and 6, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The kids absolutely loved the kids' club, and it's worth adding that my boy always cries and refuses to go to places like this when we go on holidays. Kids always spent morning outside on fresh air, followed by lunch and activity in the afternoon. The hotel also offered a fantastic range of activities for parents to enjoy doing with the kids, from painting and a wood workshop to swimming and football. As the children were entertained and happy it allowed us as parents to relax and enjoy some much-needed adult time. The food was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for families looking for a perfect balance of fun for kids and adult time for parents!

We had a really great week here. It is probably perfect for kids age 4 and up, but our little girl was nearly 2 and she still really enjoyed it (as did we). It is in extremely beautiful surroundings. The spa is one of the best I’ve been to in a hotel, with a big adults only bit which is a nice touch. The daycare options are great. There are lots of different activities mainly between 4pm and 6pm for “parent and child time”. There is evening entertainment too which changes each evening - live music, magician etc. although sometimes it doesn’t start til 9pm which was a little late for us. The food is really good. Breakfast is 7.30 til 10.30, lunch is 12.30 til 4 then dinner is from 6.30. My only comment would be that at 12.30 and 6.30 there are pretty much queues of families ready to eat - I feel that the times could probably be pulled forward a little for those with very young kids that are hungry by then. Special shout-out to Renato who was an excellent waiter, he really went above and beyond to meet the needs of our family every dinner time. He had a number of tables to serve but somehow managed to make us feel like we were his only table - bringing different dishes at different times, repeat dishes where requested etc. We were so grateful for him, he made each dinner so much better.
