My girlfriend and I stayed at the Green Inn for Valentine’s Day. It was so special! They made it incredible, adding some extra touches. Thank you Richard and Samantha :) Just great. The breakfast was also lovely, and the place it is situated in makes it even better.

After a last-minute disappointment with a local Airbnb booking, we found ourselves at Ye Olde Bowling Green Inn, and we couldn't be more grateful for the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, this charming, family-run pub made our stay truly memorable. The rooms were impeccably clean, the views were absolutely stunning and the morning full English was fantastic to fuel you up ahead of a good days hike! I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the Peak District, and we will definitely be back again! Julian

Went for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the beef had all gone but we both had an excellent and generous lunch of roast pork with a shared portion of pigs in blankets and ample vegetables. The food was excellent and the service very efficient. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The beer was good and at a realistic price. The whole place was clean and sparkling. The portions are large but you can even take it home with you!

Went for a Christmas meal with the family .the food was absolutely amazing I had the salmon and cous cous followed by a citrus tart the rest had traditional turkey and all the trimming , The whole experience was great from start to finish , Sam and the team made our whole experience perfect .Highly recommended ,and will certainly be back next year .

We went for the Christmas menu weekend, and I must say it was such a lovely experience, Sam and her staff always make you very welcome.we had turkey and all the trimmings, it was one of the best Christmas meals I have ever had, food was piping hot and presented perfectly. Food was perfect and a good size portion, could not fault it at all. Really enjoyed it, The lemon citrus tart was amazing and so delicious, finishing of with coffee and mince pie. Lovely night with family.

Cracking stay at this establishment, the cooked breakfast was lovely, the bed was comfortable & the staff were great the best part are the views across the valley, absolutely stunning setting & all round enjoyable stay!! The pub/accomodation has had new ownership since September 2023 & they appear to be doing a spot on job. I was very pleased with our stay & Bradwell is a pleasant little village.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and very hardworking. Good location for visiting Castleton and the Peak District. Lovely mountain views from room and traditional pub with good food and entertainment and excellent breakfast. The room wasn't huge or ultra modern, but was clean and had all we needed. Comfortable bed, clean bedding and plenty of fluffy towels.

Food only, welcoming host, food lovely and priced well. Advise to book table pre eating, we called in on our way home, we did call Tuesday but closed, we didn't check, walked into the village from campsite in search of food, worth the return..

Great location for walks in the Peak District. The owners couldn’t do enough for you, really welcoming. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable, especially the bedding!! The food was amazing. Definitely recommend staying there.
