Came after a long journey. Cold outside and mid winters. Called beforehand to make sure the hotel was open. When we came the hotel was closed, dark and doors locked. Eventually a receptionist opened for us and showed us an available room (they are much smaller than the the photos show) My only concern was hot water and the only question I asked her. She confirmed that yes, there is very hot water in the shower, no problem. Placed the suitcase in, went for dinner and came back to take a hot shower but no hot water. Contacted the same lady who called around to try to fix the problem. Checked the thermostat and stated that it would be difficult to get someone to repair it as it was around 9pm. She checked the water temperature herself and agreed that it was not possible to have a hot shower. As nothing was used in the room (not the bed, no towels, soap or anything) but only the suitcase that had been placed on the floor, we decided to leave to get a hot shower elsewhere. The next day we called the owner to get the refund but he quickly interrupted our request by saying rudely “get to the point” He refused to give any refund whatsoever as the “room already had been entered” and claimed that water was 47 degrees hot (he was not even there during the situation and the water was definitely way below body temperature as receptionist agreed) As that is some of the most rude and unprofessional way to act and speak, it’s not even worth to get into and argument as it is just a waste of time. Especially for people who knows the industry. How the hotel has a current high score is beyond me if this is how they operate.
