Coral Cove Apartments - Absolute Beachfront Resort Bowen

Coral Cove Apartments is a great place to stay when visiting Bowen. The view is so amazing you could be on a tropical island. The boat ramp is just a short 200m away and Horseshoe Bay is so beautiful. I have been here before but this trip was just my teenage daughter and I + her new sailboat. The Manager was able to get us a room on short notice in summer (we are very grateful) and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to help me out (a stressed mum trying to work out a new boat with a teenager), he really made what was a bit of a stressful trip for us feel so much more relaxed. Having the restaurant on site is really convenient and the local cafe is a short walk away which is great. If you visit call ahead and make a booking for their midweek special dinner (I think on a Tuesday?) it is a nice night out and less than a 5 minute walk. My daughters favourite activity (aside from sailing) was to sit in the rocks in front of the resort reading a book and watching the bay. This is a very family friendly resort and every time we visit I feel we are treated very well by the Manager and staff which really makes for a great holiday. We hope to make this an annual destination.

Booked direct. Lovely apartment with a great view (unfortunately it was very wet in late Jan). Good communication and nice staff. Underground car park very convenient. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Comfortable beds. Lovely walking tracks nearby. It’s a bit out of town but has a restaurant on site.

Nearby activities Wear stinger suits during the stinger season Safety Use the beach walk ways, don't walk on the road side, cars have to dodge and the road is narrow. Walkability Great walking tracks. Food and drinks Cove restaurant is excellent and The Horseshoe Bay Cafe has breakfast, brunch, lunch, parmi night and some live music. Noteworthy details Was verbally abused by male manager for returning a luggage trolley. Used foul language and there was no justification for the manner in which I was treated. Spa out of action, pool detritus scattered around pool. Gardens looking dead in some areas and weedy. Filthy common areas, laundry trolleys in car parks, and a further 4 spots out of action being used by a builder and a trailer. Penthouse decor left a lot to be desired.

Outstanding accomodation with uninterrupted views of the ocean right on the doorstep. These apartments are equipped with everything you need and impeccably clean. Secure undercover parking; even have trolleys available to take your gear up to your room via the elevator. Lovely clean pool, green well kept gardens + onsite restaurant. Less than 5 min to the supermarket. Did I mention the crystal clear ocean On. Your. Doorstep. This place is amazing and will definitely stay again.

Power cut meant no lift to top floor. Took the stairs which were filthy, full of sand, dirt and discarded food. Spa was also out of action and has been so for 4 months! Cut tiles piled around the spa edge was most unattractive and untidy, as was the disintegrated pool noodle in the shallow section of the pool.

Location location location. Spacious and clean apartment. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful and well maintained tropical garden and pool area. Easy access to the beach, pool area and the restaurant. We had a great time together and we highly recommend to stay at the Coral cove apartments when you visit Bowen.
