Hotel Soča

A minimalistic very attractive hotel in this very active Slovenian town The hotel is able to assist you with many sports. Very modern and clean. Well presented and nicely made breakfast including lovely cooked mushrooms Don’t forget to book the sauna!

We loved this hotel! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a fabulous sauna and spa area on the 3rd floor as well as a small gym. The breakfast the next morning was fabulous!! So many options; all of which were delicious and locally sourced. We’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is comfy and relaxing. It’s a good place to stay that’s central to town especially considering the weather is often temperamental so it’s nice to come back to a comfy room. The breakfast man was very hospitable and the there was plenty to choose from. Like others have stated it’s a shame the hotel doesn’t offer dinner. It was hard in September some nights to find stuff open, ie sundays. The staff were all lovely and helpful at all times. It was good that you can reserve the spa and use it privately. The one piece of feedback I have for the hotel is that the cost of getting laundry done is outrageous… 10 euro for a tshirt and 2 euro per underwear??? Plus there’s no where to hang up your wet clothes which is inevitable given the region and activities. Given the amount you pay to stay here you’d expect this to be included. The coffee at breakfast is also terrible but you don’t come to Europe for good coffee.

Be careful with the activities that you can hire at the hotel, we booked a zip line for two and my partner did not have the ability to know how to stop, which created a dangerous situation. They told us they would refund our money but they never did.

I love this hotel, centrally located and offering tons of options of activities such as rafting, zip lining and canyoning. It has a bar in the lobby, the service is friendly and the rooms large, cool and very modern. They also have a pool and small gym. But the breakfast is the best in all of Slovenia and Croatia! The guy who welcomes you (I forgot his name) was my favorite human! He welcomes you and wants you to be happy and makes sure the breakfast has a wide variety and he was amazing. Shout out to the cook breakfast guy at this hotel.

We stayed one night, the hotel is very modern, comfortable and the staff were amazing. We arrived and hiked to the nearby waterfall the Slap Virje which was well worth seeing. The weather was terrible and we got drenched, the hotel staff very kindly dried our kit out. Breakfast was the best, all bread baked on site and delicious. Convivial bar on the ground floor, and ask outside pool. Hotel parking right outside. Can’t recommend enough!
