El hotel está muy bien ubicado y la habitación es espaciosa y la vista inmejorable al rio. Me hospedé en la habitación Euro. Sin embargo, dicen proveer de una experiencia de lujo cosa que está muy lejos de ser cierta. El check in es self service, por lo que cuando entramos a la habitación notamos que no nos habían dejado toallas de mano y que el wifi no funcionaba. Envié un mail indicando estos puntos y jamás lo contestaron. Él servicio de limpieza que se hizo al día siguiente de nuestra llegada fue malo, la cla mal arreglada, los vasos sucios quedaron en el escritorio, no dejaron toallas de mano, y tampoco papel higiénico. La ducha filtraba agua lo que provocaba que el piso del baño quedara mojada hasta la puerta de entrada y ni siquiera dejaban algo para poder secar. No volvería a alojarme en este hotel.

4th this year... Short....position is great, no lift stairs to rooms, food is fine. Long.... Reception was pleasant, room ready early. Car park only has apx 8 spaces, don't rely on Sat nav. Floors in rooms very creaky but perfectly fine. Our shower was hot then cold and the extractor can had fluff coming out, the sink had a glass shelf which made is hard to wash. Evening meal was fine. The model village and Bird land are a short stroll. Town is packed with visitors and it's hard to move. Breakfast is really good with choices however, the coffee is cold and trying to order is hard. A good night's stay to say we have been.

A very lovely cottage! New, impeccably clean, and comfy. It is close to the town centre of Bourton on the Water, convenient even for those who are not arriving by car. The breakfast was in good portions and was delicious especially the scrambled eyes. It was the best breakfast I had throughout my 2 weeks in the UK. Cotswold is a beautiful area that deserves to be explored on foot if weather permits. I regret that I had only scheduled a 2-night stay, look forward to visit again

We seemed to pay a lot for an attic room on the top floor. I chose the room advertising a super king bed, but failed to appreciate this was two singles pushed together making the exit from the bed on both sides very difficult due to the very low headroom at the sides of the room. If the beds are two singles, guests use the centre of the room. The bed also was in front of the window so no view. You face away from the view. Not that it’s really of the river either. It’s a view of houses in front of the river. We felt quite a lot of over egging the description was at play here. We felt very short changed. Plus there’s the car park charge. The room did have an en suite shower room and the shower worked well. However the basin was tiny cloakroom size, it was virtually impossible to clean your teeth without resting your head on the mirror above the basin! It’s difficult not to get water on the floor. There’s no under floor heating and, with towels on the radiator, it’s cold! There’s virtually no storage in this room. Nowhere for bags or a suitcase. Luckily we had carry on size luggage but if you stayed longer, it’s just not good enough. A tiny storage cupboard with 4 coat hangers is all there is. The windows have light roller blinds. It’s very cold by the windows. We felt this was style over substance and not somewhere we would use again. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant, but understaffed at checkout though. Poor young lady was trying to serve breakfasts too! They want you to vote for them for an award. Not my idea of an award winning room. Disappointing.
