Premier Inn Hemel Hempstead West

Hemel Hempstead Premier inn West is in a perfect location near Hemel, slightly tricky to find especially in the dark. But we have stayed here many times and have always had a perfect stay. Rooms comfortable Ask for 2 floor at back not facing car park or McDonald's. Breakfast is plentiful at £10.99 ppl which is good value. Can't think of any negatives apart from finding the hotel

Great rooms as always, also a big thankyou to Andy the chef for giving us an ice lolly when my partners daughter wasn't eating anything (and for still doing us breakfast even though we were nearly late). We always stay with premier inns now as they're just that bit better: cots are always pre booked, up for us and not broken; plenty of tea supplies; good quality and quantity breakfast; Parking is convenient; etc.

Check in experience was the worst display of customer service I’ve ever encountered - rude, aggressive, condescending behaviour, and completely unprofessional. Apparently, Premier Inn now have a ‘policy’ where you have to book a time slot for breakfast or you can’t have one - not that there’s any notification of this when booking the hotel online or being given the opportunity to select a time slot for breakfast when adding the £10.99 breakfast option. There’s a McDonalds next to the hotel, I ended up having breakfast there where it was served without the attitude.

Felt needed to write a review after our one night stay last night, after reading some of the other 1* star reviews I had a massive panic and tried to canx or change hotels. So arriving last night I had very very low expectations. BUT was very pleasantly surprised. Lots of parking. Gentleman on front desk very friendly asked what we was doing and then gave some advice about our harry potter tour. Room completely fine and in keeping with other hotels in this chain, comfy beds tea and coffee facilities. Can confirm that no fire alarms went off through the night and the restaurant was very much open (unlike other reviews) Not buffet like most premier inn but cooked to order and was very very nice. Good selections of continental products as well. Interacted with 3 staff during our stay. Gentleman on front desk, lady this morning running breakfast area and the chef who helped bring the breakfast over. All were nothing but helpful and polite. Unable to find fault with them. Would recommend and stay again great location for harry potter tour. Thank you.

This has to be the worst premier inn I have ever stayed at. Had to Waite 30 minutes to be offered a drink then another 30 minutes to get my food Witnessed other guests experiencing the same level of service Then told this morning that there are no cooked breakfast This place needs closing

We had a great stay, after reading reviews I won’t lie I was a little bit worried but the hotel was lovely!! It was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were pleasant on arrival. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again. Free parking and only a 10 minutes drive from the Harry Potter Studio Tour.
