Mediteran Hotel & Resort

The hotel is well located and has good facilities. The staff are efficient. It is interesting that they have a water park, which, despite being a little old, has several pools and sun loungers. The all-inclusive package is disappointing, as it does not include snacks, fruit or ice cream during the day. It only includes the three main meals and some drinks at the bar during the day. As for cleanliness, it is not their strong point. The rooms had hair and dust inside the drawers and furniture. In the restaurant, the tables have tablecloths, which are used by several customers without ever being changed (some with large stains). The same goes for the chairs, which are covered with fabric, some of which are quite dirty. The concept of sustainability is completely unknown to this hotel... unfortunately.

The hotel does not meet the advertised 4-star standard at all – in reality, it wouldn't deserve more than 2 stars. I'm not a demanding guest, but the price through the travel agency was completely unreasonable given the quality of services. Room: Musty air, mold, peeling plaster, dirt, pills and trash under the bed left by previous guests. Unhygienic and dangerous for children. All inclusive services? In reality, it was only full board (3 meals a day). No snacks between meals Only instant Nescafé from a machine; proper coffee and ice cream for an extra charge Staff seemed annoyed and unhelpful Flies on the food Pool water was unpleasantly cold until the afternoon. Elevators were unsafe – no sensors, our child got pinched by the doors several times. Aquapark was partially out of service, surfaces were sharp and dangerous. The hotel is located next to a busy road – noise, smog, exhaust fumes. The beach is 400 meters from the hotel entrance, made of sharp gravel – very uncomfortable to walk on. Hotel sunbeds were occupied by non-guests who paid for them, so we had to pay for our own on a different part of the beach. Experience with Mediteran Express (same company as the hotel): We bought a ticket from a local vendor for a bus that was supposed to arrive in 3 minutes – it came 30 minutes later, completely full, and we couldn't get on. Another bus came late again and was also overcrowded. We didn’t get a refund for the ticket. The driver was aggressive and acted dangerously. On another occasion, I paid for the ticket only when getting on the bus – the driver almost closed the door on my hand, and the ticket seller didn’t give me any change. Think carefully before booking this place – it's definitely not worth it under these conditions.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mediteran. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was always kind and helpful, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and welcoming. As senior travellers, we especially appreciated the peaceful location and easy access to the beach. The spa area was a highlight – very clean and relaxing. We felt very well taken care of and will gladly return next year!

Very comfy bed, I slept so well. Great buffet meals with lots of choice. I had a facial from Ana and it was the best that I have ever had. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. The restaurant staff were efficient, but could smile a bit more!! Aspects of the hotel are a little outdated, but hey, this is Montenegro and things need to catch up a bit.

Where to start ,we came at the hotel ,everything was fine except that thing the receptionist take our id cards ,which is not normal because we had plans to go to Croatia and without ID it’s not possible.The next thing is the rude people there ,no one was smiling except the person in the pool ,we has amazing! Our last day was horrible we were sleeping when something scared me ,because one of the housekeeper decided to come in the room ,and when she saw our luggage she closed the door very loudly and scared is.I paid relaxing vacation there and I didn’t expect such a thing! And the housekeepers talked very very loudly outside and no one could sleep!I don’t recommend this place!

First 4 star hotel but was severely disappointed - having frequented 2 and 3 star hotels over the years, this was barely a 2 star - yes, they offer add ons for additional payment but when we came, broken toilet seat that constantly moves when you sit on it (did report it but never fixed), no 24 hour room service (apparently not the right time of year), air conditioning didn't work despite temps reaching 28 degrees, room decor was outdated, substandard with ripped wallpaper, broken bathroom shelf, broken toilet seat, curtains that let light in and a lovely smell of smoke coming through the ventilation from other rooms - not sure what others expect for 4 star but this wasn't it. Positives were the bed was comfy so no complaints there but not sure I'd pay what we did just for a comfy bed! Very disappointing.
