Hôtel Bordeaux Clémenceau by Happyculture

Mi experiencia no fue muy buena. Había reservado este hotel por su ubicación y anunciaban aire acondicionado en la habitación. Mi esposa y yo llegamos el sábado a las 3 de la tarde. Nos registramos y nos dieron la llave de la habitación. Cuando llegamos a la habitación, parecía un poco de calor y encendimos el aire acondicionado. Salimos unos 30 minutos más tarde para disfrutar de nuestro tiempo en esta hermosa ciudad. Regresamos al hotel sobre las 23:00 horas para ducharnos y relajarnos. La habitación todavía estaba caliente, tenga en cuenta que hay una ola de calor la semana del 25 de junio. Fui a preguntarle al recepcionista nocturno por qué la habitación está tan caliente y me dijeron que el aire acondicionado está roto, por eso hay un admirador. Tenía la impresión de que el aire acondicionado estaba roto en todo el hotel. Ninguna disculpa ni explicación de por qué no nos informaron del problema del aire acondicionado ni nos dieron la oportunidad de encontrar un hotel diferente. Envié un correo electrónico a Trip.com con quien reservé y me dijeron que lo investigarían. Después de una noche de insomnio, bajamos a ver al recepcionista de la mañana y nos dijeron que solo nuestra habitación tenía el aire acondicionado roto y que ahora tienen otra habitación para nosotros. Me comuniqué nuevamente con Trip.com, quien dijo que entendían mis inquietudes y que se ocuparían de ellas. Finalmente me ofrecieron 20 euros en monedas de viaje y un desayuno gratuito que incluía café y tostadas. ¿Qué te parece eso de una bofetada? Ahora estoy en el proceso de comunicarme con mi compañía CC para obtener al menos un reembolso parcial. Por último, las habitaciones son viejas con toalleros sueltos de la pared y simplemente no son un hotel bien mantenido. Hubo algunos puntos positivos y algunos miembros del personal fueron amables. Pero en general calificaría nuestra experiencia con una D+.

A comfortable hotel in a central location with plenty of restaurants and bars. The only negative is that the train station is a 45 minute walk or 15 minute tram ride. My room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and overlooked the main street. It was small but cosy! Staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn’t vast but just about sufficient. This wasn’t the cheapest hotel on my travels around France (£75 per night) but it was an enjoyable stay!

Great location walking distance of many attractions and by the metro and bus stops. Located by many cafes and shops. I didn't have to go too far to eat or drinks. Very friendly staff in the hotel. Breakfast options very limited. Only provide soya milk no other non dairy free mil options. The room was comfortable just one thing to add the plugs should be more accessible. I liked the idea that you can decline housekeeping for day or so. When they did come to clean room the cup was not replaced with new cup and no toilet paper. Overall I would stay here again as it's central and lovely staff.

Booked in for 3 night break. Bit disappointed. Room was small, not as in pictures. Bathroom was tiny, shower miniscule. Couldn't turn in it or would knock the shower tap off. Shower was smaller than the one in my caravan. Work was going on in the hote, which wasn't stated at time of booking, any noise didn't effect us but there was constant dust on the flooring. There Very little space in room to lay things down, only a small table and tiny shelf in the toilet. As per square foot, room is probably the most expensive I've ever paid for. Booked re location which was ok, just inside pedestrian area, close to a tram route from airport, that it had Aircon and re profile pictures which showed a bigger rooms. Staff though were friendly and helpful. Don't think I'd use it again or go back to Bordeaux which we found massively expensive.
